Robin's Mini Fortrex Promo is only around for 2 weeks, that seems to be a very limited time. Many people say it is a slow time of the year for Lego, and many people are also eyeing up the double points in March. That could mean they may not be spending this month and are planning to go big next month. Is this little poly bag going to be diamond in the rough? Currently there are only 19 on ebay for sale going rate is around $10.00, and only 4 have been sold so far, granted some seller's have more than 1 for sale & I know it is still early in the promotion.

$10? With or without shipping? Not bad for freebie. I think it sucks, that's just me though, you made some valid points IMO but then you said only 4 sold....you see, that makes ME think that it's gonna perform as crappy as it looks

I'm receiving one Mini Fortrex promo with the Star Wars MTT I managed to order yesterday when it briefly returned from being retired, and at 50% discount even. Received the shipment e-mail from LEGO Shop at Home today while the MTT is still being processed.

Nice grab! I have been reading about people getting lucky on a brief return of the MTT.

I hope it's a sleeper.  Just a few days ago, I went to the Lego store out here in SLC and bought a ridiculously large purchase, and the guy hooked me up with a bunch of free poly's.  He gave me 3 mini fortrex, and 2 parrots.  And I just recently placed an order to get the last couple of items so I can motorize and light up my Helicarrier, and I'll be getting a 4th mini fortrex.  Hopefully they are a diamond in the rough.  I wouldn't mind that little nice return.

I don't think this theme will perform better than Chima, therefore I regard these polybags in the same category as Frax's Flyer or whatever it was called.

I wonder how long it will take before this polybag appears at Wal-Mart or Target (maybe even Five Below) as a seasonal item. Such does not always happen but it has with a handful over the past couple years and is a possibility to keep in mind.
