BrickLegacy
I treat my UPS team very well. They will get an even better gift this year. I need to find a way to treat my USPS clerk this year. She is doing a phenomenal job but the free coffee isn't enough.

brickvoyeur
So far this year my postal worker broke my mailbox by stuffing so much into it. One day caught him shaking it back and forth trying to cram something in that had no business fitting (a board game). As I had no video proof, the post office has said that there is no way to say it was caused by my postal worker. There is no doubt some of my "thread of packaging excellence" posts have been caused in the last mile to my house. Perhaps that bag of used dildos should be sent along to my postal worker? Apparently no matter how large the bubble mailer... no matter how many of them there are... they belong in the box. For reference it's 17 steps from my mailbox to my front door. FedEx has a habit of putting my shipments on the wrong street. 3 roads that are parallel to one another all have the same numbers. Multiple calls to FedEx has done nothing to change the fact that I have to play musical mail with my neighbor. The house on the third street with the same number is abandoned and we have placed a large sign on the door saying it is not "insert my street here", but it has done nothing to change their inability to know what road they are on. UPS has been fine. Which compared to the rest, The only ones more incompetent than either of them, are the Amazon drivers who just toss packages at my house. Or stuff everything in the same box. Cat food fits in the same box as Lego... and amazingly.. glassware. But I am right near that lovely BWI distribution facility and the incompetence is staggering. It's good to see that some have decent drivers.

waxwing
I'm making UPS, USPS, and Fedex ornaments for my people, leaving them in the mudroom where they drop the legos with a big THANK YOU note. I'll also be selling the ornaments in my etsy shop and on AMZ handmade if anyone is interested.

Or there's the other one that hit one of the neighbor's kids the other day, and drove off without checking on him. Popular Post dennugsmello
I come here, see everyone commenting on Christmas gifts and postal workers... And to my horror, not a single person mentions the perfect gift. A gift which will raise the spirits of any man. Why, the very things they've stacked on our porches, thirty high for thirty days. All while contemplating, what kind of madman could possibly order this much Target, Wal-Mart and Amazon? Nobody thought to spare just one measly set for these poor souls. Shame on all of you... I am a different man. One to be remembered as a god among postal customers. They will fight over my route like starved rats. My Christmas gift will be talked and reveled about around the post office water cooler for years to come. A gift worthy of its storied past. A sealed, mint 75119. 5
