That day was gold. I imagine they won't be letting that happen again. I think we are still not allowed to talk about that day. mfc90125
So here's my chat with Target. Very interesting: Joushua: Hi! My name is Joushua. How can I help you today? Me: Hi I have some questions about using gift cards. #1 - Can I use a GC during one of your spend $50 promotions to receive a $10 GC? Also can I use a GC and still get free shipping? Joushua: Yes, you can use up to 4 Target GiftCards along with a credit or a debit card to pay for the order. Joushua: You will get free standard shipping on all Target.com orders. Me: So there's no limit on shipping? Ok, second question answered but I need more info on #1. If I use a GC to pay for something that is on the $50/$10 promotion would I then receive the $10 even though I used GC to pay for it? Joushua: You got it right. Joushua: Yes, you will still receive the promotional GiftCard.

It goes a long way. What is a proper tip you’d advise on giving your mail carrier, or carriers? I wasn’t sure if you’re allowed to do that or not. oneknightr
I remember a while back the loophole/glitch where Target.com gave you the Redcard 5% off on the entire purchase amount even though you used GC's to pay for most of the total. That was nice.

They don't get paid a lot. Even a small gesture or Gift Card can go a long way.

I always tip the man who did my package routinely with cash, but $20 at most.

If you have a reliable and steady one, one that has been delivering to your home or business for awhile, then it is a nice gesture. Tipping is permitted... Employee Tipping and Gift-Receiving Policy All postal employees, including carriers, must comply with the Standards of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch. Under these federal regulations, carriers are permitted to accept a gift worth $20 or less from a customer per occasion, such as Christmas. However, cash and cash equivalents, such as checks or gift cards that can be exchanged for cash, must never be accepted in any amount. Furthermore, no employee may accept more than $50 worth of gifts from any one customer in any one calendar year period.

The smile of satisfaction each year is priceless too (probably better than getting a good job review) as it is direct from a customer. I always make sure to hand it to them as the Weekday person is usually different than the weekend person and I want to make sure it goes to the correct person in case they are sick/out that particular day. Did it several times (don't tell my wife, although she'll see it when we get the red card bill). Probably used about $30-40 worth of GCs to get more CGs. We are both teachers so we are off Thanksgiving week and two weeks during Christmas. Basket and cooler go out when we wake up, come back in at night. We also have a note on the window thanking them for there part in our online shopping habit.
