I have been checking many times the past few days and they show up for a minute but by the time I get to check out it’s gone. Got lucky this morning. If you keep checking back hopefully you can get one too 😊 Also I’m not sure about resale value at all. This I just wanted for myself and had been waiting til my Birthday to justify it but by then of course covid happened and it was Sold out. While I do agree with your assessment and I don't think its investment potential is near as high as a modular or fairground set, it is one of those sets that pushes the boundaries of what is possible with LEGO. From that stand point it is an oddity and dare I say has a certain cool factor. And with all of Netflix's new subscribers and future potential Stranger Things seasons, it could take off.
