Has anyone here ever read the book Animal Farm? This was my first thought after reading your comment. 

 

So so far so good on the first four characters. I just hope the shark suit guy isn't a rehash of something we've seen from the Atlantis theme.

These lists no matter how loosely translated have been considerably accurate in general looking back at past series but of course a few will change a bit term wise when closer to release. "Steering wheel warrior" sounds hilariously awesome but the "winged warrior" sounds somewhat more logical and may fit within the upcoming Nexo Knights theme. Harpy might have made more sense if mythological unless they are going for a Flash Gordon approach which I see Locutus pointed out. Haha. Only with The Chronicles of Narnia have I heard a Satyr called a Faun except in the case about the female equivalent of a Satyr.

Shark Costume Guy looks great and exactly as I imagined, Jewel Thief to me somehow sounds like it will be a woman, everyone knows how much I love my robots so that's a given for me, we already had an Evil Knight with Series 7 therefore this Scary Knight must be different in some way, Astronaut and Kendo Warrior have been done before but I missed Series 1 in the first place as I imagine many others did as well so this will be nice.

I am quite excited for this series...especially the kendoka. Hopefully they do this one correctly, unlike the old Ninjago "kendo" minifigs (I bought two them of anyway to pose together doing drills). The armour should have no back (it is tied with cords) , the headgear should be blue ( or, in some rare cases, white), breastplate usually black with no added shoulder wings. The Ninjago minifigs also had split legs (not what a hakama looks like) and the shinai, well, don't really look correct either.

This series looks very smooshable, but only a few figs interest me, with the shark guy probably being the most sought after.

Looks like tribal woman greatly resembles series 1 Native American woman with bow and arrow, does this mean series 1 fig will go down in value or be more desirable?

I refuse to buy a lot on this one.  While some of them are cool, this reminds me more of series 12 where it will be a very slow process to make any cash on them.. Ill definitely buy one case, but that's probably it.  Now the Disney Minifigures, i'll buy multiple cases...

This series is great for new accessories.  The mace, crutches, baby, mop, and a new skunk.  The only figure here that I see really worth grabbing to hold onto is the shark, and you know that one will be 3/box.  The farmer is a great way to get more printed pigs, which to this point have been rare.  Most of these will be single buys for me to get a set. I assume the hairpiece on the cat burglar is dark brown version of Black Widow's new hairpiece.
