Dr. Brick Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 As I was checking my just updated Brickfolio, I noticed I surpased the 2,000,000 mark of Lego Bricks. Maybe it's time to sell some of these bricks? Started this hobby about 7 years ago. Or maybe i can build a real house with these(my 5 y.o. son was asking me. Anyhow, I'm sure there are other Brickpickera with maybe 10,000,000+ bricks out there? It's been real fun so far so I think I'll justvkeep going. It took me 3737 sets to get here so my next goal maybe to own 5000 seales Lego sets. Anybody else out there who is a Brickmillionair? Quote

That's a great question; how many bricks per pound of Lego?. I still have about 12 bins of 50-60 lbs of Lego's. All from my youth(early eighties), but just too much work to sell( and too many good building memories). Quote
Migration Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I paid attention to a bulk lot I was working last year and figured I had sold about 15,000 pieces and that equalled about a 58 quart container. Not sure what it weighed though. 1 Quote
waddamon Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I need more space. One major Lego room houses 95% of it, another under stairs closet has the rest boxed up. 1 Quote
plastic passion Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 6 months into this journey I am at : total sets 75 / total pieces 59204 - so by my calculations I've got about 7 years and 10 months (at my current buy rate) to get to 1 million bricks. Props to you folks..... that is impressive! pp 1 Quote
Vader888 Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 I started last May. Scary to see this number to be honest. You own 510 items, 180 different. We have piece counts for 180 of them. You own 256360 pieces. We have retail prices for 157 of them. Their retail value is $25177. 1 Quote
