jaisonline
Thread updated with official pics from Lego's facebook page. ------------------ side note: Makes me wonder if this film is set on the 1990s or so. I'll look for more details to identity time period. The Ecto rebootcar appears to be a 1984 Cadillac Superior Hearse model. I found some film still pics of the car on the web and Paul's tweet and replies about his lego comment.

Val-E
I don´t see why it should if you mean the OT Ghostbusters franchise. SW Ep 1-3 and TFA have boosted interes in OT Saga items.....

You mean like star wars? The masses love rehashes, sequels and prequels. Occasionally we get fresh movies like Inception, inside out, and avatar. LegoEdison
is the new one smaller than 21108? Maybe we don't need to remove all the desk to fit inside the GBHQ. doesn't look like it is smaller. Darth_Raichu
Per this article, set to be released July 1st, $59.99 MSRP: https://www.yahoo.com/movies/new-female-powered-ghostbusters-lego-set-155945480.html To be honest, this demon thing looks great!

I prob wouldn't compare Star Wars, Star Trek, Vacation, Creed, etc... to this film as it is going for something entirely different than the other films. I applaud Paul F for being diff. Hope it works for him.

mudcatsfan
Pretty cool, Chris Hemsworth joins the club of having more than 1 lego figure character. I forget if someone actually has 3. I know J Depp has at least 2 as does Helena Bonahm Carter, Harrison Ford, Chris Pratt, Ian McCellan and probably many others.

I can see an entire update of the City line coming up soon ..... just like they went from 4-wide to 6-wide 10 years ago .... I like it though, the car looks cool and I like the mirrors (but those might have been done like this on the original ECTO-1 already, don't shoot me for not fact-checking). Crustybeaver
I'd like to think that the horde has already acquired their quota of 21108... But its most likely that we'll see Ecto-1s being bought at an alarming rate in turn prompting Lego to keep it in production longer than expected.
