So I placed two orders of 1 peace Red5 few hours ago on LEGO Shop at Home... and now both order status are cancelled. Is this the end? Time to start buying from else where.

On the other hand, my order of birthday cakes remains in process...

Update: just tried ordering Tower bridge as well and was cancelled right away... looks like anything With "will ship in 30 days" are getting cancelled right now

I can order anything that's OOS except for PC which is cancelled right away. I'd say it's Lego enforcing the buying limits, but i have multiple R5's on backorder and can still place orders. So i'm not sure what that's all about.

I don't go crazy with S&H and just had Kwik-E-Mart cancelled (1) with other orders still on back order/waiting for new stock, etc.  First time I've ordered one from S&H too.

Sometimes their system cancels orders without reason, however.

Waiting for one from May 4 as well. It will be interesting to see if it's a new run, or just fulfillment of orders based on the stock they collected up remaining.

21R5 seal codes in my store...  employees still think it will be gone soon along with DS.

..... OR DO THEY!?

Ask them to define soon, please.

It looks like the traditional pattern of multiple exclusives retiring in last quarter will again occur this year - same as there will be no interesting BF deals. We could expect less retirements than in 2014 so maybe just Red 5, PS, DS and ToO as large ones this time around.

The vast majority of LEGO sets retire (or basically become unavailable from LEGO S@H)  in the 2nd and 4th quarters.  We are still in the 2nd quarter.

I don´t see any going for good  in the next 2 weeks - do you?

You never know.  A set might not be gone completely from all retailers, but it is possible a set goes out of stock on LEGO S@H and never comes back into stock.  Historical records indicate that the second and fourth quarters are the most active time periods for sets disappearing from stock on LEGO S@H.  But that was then...who knows what the new now is.

I generally pay attention to the employees who don't claim to know too much, but share their very slightly more informed opinions. Now and then, they will come out with a tidbit that is "factual" (always subject to change) that I find helpful. For instance, DS has been "scheduled" to be retired more than once... but it continues to sell very well. Many of you know all this, no big secret... but the info helps, when told it is "scheduled" to be retired at the end of this year, to realize, maybe it's not just someone blowing smoke. Neither is it any kind of guarantee.

Anyway, "soon" in this case was un-defined as basically they won't be surprised to stop receiving them at any time and are very encouraging to "get one if you don't have one yet". Perhaps this is just good salesmanship, or perhaps there is more to it. All those who discount store employee info entirely should look into collective wisdom. But I digress...

Please post your Date codes once everyone gets these in hand.

Also interested to see if these start showing up in retail stores again.

Yesterday, there were 4 of them on the shelves at the Lego store in Frisco TX. Employee said that they just received a small shipment, that they were not expecting, limit 1 per costumer.

Seal code is 21R5 for the one we purchased.

I've still got $2k set aside for ten new TH's, just as soon as they come back in stock at LEGO Shop at Home.

Lego VP of Product Development takes note to himself:

"- Big demand for town hall set, many customers willing to pay $200 each

- Reissue 40183 this fall, adjust price to $199.99

- Buy Billund beach house in 2016 with 2015's bonus"
