Anaheim is just pretty far for me... I was going to take the kids to the local comic con convention this year but schedules didn't permit. Some local TF fans started an enercon last summer and have already advertised this year's but I'm worried it will just end up costing more money if they really get into Star Wars. Currently they just like playing with "my" Star Wars sets and minifigures. :)

I might take my son next time.  Right now it's the same core group that started going clear back to Celebration III.  We travel from Ohio.

Disney would be dumb to not run the trailer say.......during age of ultron?

Age of ...what?

btw, what is a Google?

Are Legos good investments?

Anyone have a new seal code for R5? How about R2? F5?

How did I get here, exactly?

Has anyone seen my pants?

Hey all. I've been reviewing the trailer for episode 7 and when it shows the new x-wings, they clearly have BLUE details instead of the red details in all the previous films. Doesn't this mean that all future x-wing Legos will be blue? What does this say about Red Five's collectable value and the timing of its EOL?

Don't worry about value of R5. It will appreciate nicely once it is done.

Actually I wasn't worried about the appreciation of R5... I was just implying that it might be even MORE classic as future toys focus on the new generation of blue x-wings: the R5s will be even more rare and more valuable as the "originals"... and if Lego starts with a blue x-wing trend sooner, the sooner the classic will be seen as of value.

Rogue Squadron traditionally had a red livery, other squadrons had blue stripes, so it's not particularly to do with the new movies. There's due to be a Rogue Squadron movie as part of the new stream of movies, so Red Five should do well on the back of that.

What is in-store stock like where you live?

Here in North Carolina, it appears to be gone again. We had the drought from around December till March, then it reappeared in stores for about a month with the new 2015 date codes.

Seems to be gone again.

Can you report back with your state and if they're still in stock near you? Just curious.

Considering how this one is getting snapped up as soon as its in stock (even at 275 on Target.com) it feels like this is full on dance mode for Red Five.

Nice set, bought 7 of them last week at ToysRus when they were 160 euro.. with an official retail price of 230 euro here in Holland, 160 is the best deal I ever found here. I think (and hope) this set is standing on its last legs, but with TLG you never know..

How come the price is so low? Can't find them cheap anything here in the UK?

They are normally 200 euro at toysrus.nl, which was already cheap and regarded as an offer. Last week they had 20% discount on Lego, so I didn't expect that it would be applicable on the already discounted X-wing, but luckily it was also applicable for this set, so you could grab it for 160 euro.. Went sold out quite quickly though ;-) good price indeed.

I have not seen Red Five in my local store in Pleasanton, CA since late last year. This store also hasn't restocked ToO, PS, or PC for some time as well. I was just there yesterday too.

Does someone have any inside information on whether this will be discounted here in the US for May 4th? I personally don't think so, but that's only my gut opinion.
