Got my Spring 2015 catalog today and notice that it's not in there. Ewok Village is also absent from the catalog, though Death Star is in there.

Spring being April, May, June, I guess I should expect my Summer 2015 catalog in the first week of June.

Other items of interest that made it into the catalog would be Pet Shop, Palace Cinema, Tower Bridge, Sydney Opera House, Mini Cooper, Volkswagen Bus, and the Simpsons House.

Items that did not get a shout out would include Maersk Triple-E and the Tumbler, which only raises my eyebrows because being HTF/Exclusive you would think they'd want to peddle them a little bit more, unless they are not expected to make it through the Season.

Probably should have kept my Winter 2015 catalog so that I could see how baseless and unfounded my observations truly are.

We have a debate on here about each and every catalog release.

Funny. New here and to lego collecting/reselling. Wondered if predictions could be made from catalog. Guess not. Still...might be getting ewok and seacow now.

Yeah, there is little connection between the catalog and retirement.  I think previously in other threads it was suggested that they go to print several months before the catalog is actually released.  If sets sell well ahead of schedule, then they may be in the catalog and not actually available.  That was the case with the Super Star Destroyer last summer save for brief availability.

If you want any set for your collection or investment that's been our at least a year, and certainly 1.5 years, then I'd suggest buying it if you have the funds.  At least, that's my philosophy.

Taking the thread even more off track...I had zero interest in the helicarrier. Too expensive, not my thing, etc. Then my 8 year old son saw the catalog! First the screams of excitement followed by the sweet pleading look. Guess it's on the list now. Sigh...

Back to the thread...

Grabbed the last one at the LEGO store tonight.

Box was beat-up pretty bad, but figured I could build it, and display in the office for awhile.

Only have 2 at this point, wish I would have grabbed more when I could have,

Missing from 2015 Catalog, this thing is GONE!!!

Edit:

Please moderate the thread, I had to read through a page of crap to read about the Red 5

Called the Lego Online store about another issue with my account and then threw the CSR the side question about Red Five. She said that she heard that order fulfillment was going to begin on March 15th. Take it with a grain of salt but she seemed sincere.

PS- OK I'm new to this, but I am VERY VERY impressed at the friendliness and the expert level service of all of the Lego store employees; they really seem to know their stuff. I was talking about the Beach Hut set and the CSR instantly knew the retain price. They always know exactly which set I'm talking about and seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of their products. Very impressed and CONSISTENTLY impressed by them all...

Ha! Next time, try using abbreviations or set numbers. You are making it too easy for them
