mscheaf Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 If 7965 Millennium Falcon hits $200+ this Christmas, I'm dumping a few. I'm hoping there is one last clearance on this set. It's on it's way out the door. Quote
Sauromosis Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 But how will 7965 do if Lego releases a spiffy new version based on the movie a year or 1.5 years from now? That contains updated minifigs and such. Quote
Ed Mack Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 If 7965 Millennium Falcon hits $200+ this Christmas, I'm dumping a few. There could be a few exceptions, but people should sit back and enjoy the ride here the next year with all the hype from the new STAR WARS movies. The theme has seen some nice growth the past three months and to move the theme CAGR upwards with thousands of sets in its category is hard to do. Quote
mscheaf Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 The last MF is almost double it's MSRP and it is the exact same set as this one with a few exceptions. 7965 is going to be a winner just like 99% of all OT sets. Quote
matt1147 Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Worth picking up more of these Sith Furys at 54$ + tax? 1 Quote
hannibal Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Dont know about the fury interceptor in the US, but here in Europe is rising with the speed of a rock. I hope the same time next year thing will be different... Quote

Sauromosis Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I broke down and carefully removed Malgus from one of my 9500. Damn, he's cool. It's too bad he's not considered "canon" anymore like Revan but I hope they eventually reinstate both characters. Quote
Kenxxx Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I just got around to disassembling this set (another set collecting dust in my son's room... he'll never know it's missing). Man, what a cool set! I wasn't able to see the build, so I'm just getting to see it up close for the first time. Of course it's got great bad guys. A lot of technics pieces for a set this size... and a lot of unusual bricks... things you just "don't see everyday". Only a couple stickers. I'm surprised the part-out-value isn't higher (but I don't know anything about parting sets out). I have a few in stock, but disappointed in prices so far. I was surprised to see it still in stock at chapters.indigo.ca... maybe that's part of the "problem" with this set... A. Not enough interest in expanded universe, and B. It is still available at some retailers. Quote
