Hello everyone!

This weekend I had been cleaning out my garage while preparing to get the holiday lights up, and ran across some of our older Lego collections. Needless to say my holiday decorating plans were halted.

As I began going through some of my pieces I thought about how much fun I had building these with my girls. They are older now, and the pieces were moved out into the garage. It was only a few pieces that I kept. I located also one I had picked up along the way, and so I decided to do some internet searching about legos.

I had no idea how valuable some of these sets are!

I hope to begin collecting and also making some extra money on the side to pay for my budding hobby, and hope to learn much here.

Thanks!

And another one exits the dark age!!!!   Welcome

Hi legoray010!

I saw the dark age reference in another post, and agree with the analogy. I have many fond memories of playing with star wars figures and Legos in the 70s. My grandparents had one of those huge Lego box collections, and that was where I made a beeline every Christmas to construct a new creation.

I have several minifigure collections that I acquired over the last few years, and I am hoping they will help me expand my collective funds.

Welcome back to the light, WadeWhatnots !

Just a quick, but pedantic (sorry!) comment: using the word "Legos" is bit of a no-no: fans of LEGO don't say "Legos", the correct word usage is "LEGO" or "LEGO bricks/pieces/etc.". No plural :)
