Seems deceptive to me for the store to run a promotion when the promo item isn't even in stock but then sell them later. 1 Quote

Stock tracker showed 24 of them in about 5 out of of 30 stores last week but the 2 I checked seemed not to actually have them. Something went screwy around here, I gotta say. Quote

Lo and behold, they have now shown up with a price tag after not having them in stock for the promotion. They could have at least done a solid and given a raincheck if they came in stock at some point. Like I said earlier, folks in store were pissed that right at the beginning of the promotion they were told there was no freebie even though the whole aisle was plastered with signs for the promo. In my area, they've been on an endcap several aisles away from the LEGO aisle, typically with the pegs of Xmas Tree or Joker Bumper Car polybags. The boxes are small enough and I usually only see 5 or so lined up so they're easy to miss (or not out at all). I had to ask and they pulled out a box of them from the back.
