Amazon LEGO Report: What LEGO are Vendors Selling?

Reading some of the threads on the forum, members sometimes bring up the amount of vendors that are selling a particular LEGO item. This made me think about coming up with a way to see how many people are selling an item and then what the sales rank of that item is.  This can be a good indicator for you aggressive sellers out there to see a void that might need to be filled.  If you see a low number of vendors with a lower numbered sales rank (lower than 100), this could be a great opportunity to unload some of those sets.  If you see a  high number sales rank with a high number of vendors, you might want to either hold on for a while and see what happens or just unload them at the best price you can.  Make sure you look at what the status of the set is before making any decision.  Is it retired? New?  On discount for extended periods of time.  All of this will play a factor in what your decision may be.  If you ever have questions, feel free to write one of the more experienced members in the forum, a mod or Ed/Me to ask for advice and see what their thoughts are on the set.

If you find the information presented below of value to you, we can make this a weekly update or a full time report on the site to see what sets are moving and where vendors are starting to migrate to.  This information is available on the site, but I am trying to put it together in one easy to read place.  If you have suggestions on what might make it more useful, let me know here. I will need to make a page outside of the forum to where i can use the different tables for sorting.  I don't see anything i can use within the space.  I just want to make sure people will want to use this and any other feedback before i create that for the different regions.

That will probably never happen.  eBay doesn't offer it up for new customers anymore either.  Lots of changes out there when it comes to data.

it already is in order - by sales rank.  sets on top of the list are the ones that have a higher sales rank.  minecraft rules.

Any reason Elsa's ice castle wasn't shown in the top position? It's consistently been high for weeks and is currently #14 overall for toys and #1 for building toys.

Of course the type of people who invest in Lego would love a table! Statistics is the best bit about it!

Would it be possible to publish the aggregate data of member Brickfolios? For example, I think it would be interesting to know if there are a total of 500 Lego AT-AT sets in member Brickfolios. This data would help members identify sets which are rare, common or overlooked.

Great info, easily ported over to excel to sort any way you like, not to mention the ability to import into your own inventory spreadsheets & eliminate items you don't have, or pricing brackets you're not interested in or are already know holds etc..    now if there's an easier way to script out the set numbers (since some are missing) it's pretty slick.
