nineball66 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Hi anyone care to venture a guess at the value on this custom Lego Colosseum. It's around 24in tall and a little over 45in in diameter. I'm only guessing but I think it weighs around 100lbs. I dont know how many total pieces but it has to be in the tens of thousands. I can count hundreds of pieces just in a small section of the structure. Also included are around 135 roman mini figures. It came from a major movie studio prop department. 8 Quote
Zelgazra Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 No idea on the value, but holy cool!!!! Quote
supergman Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Perhaps average out the piece count x average per-piece value. It's only worth what someone will pay and I'd think that an approximate piece count would help significantly. Quote
terrymc4677 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I'm not sure about the value of the MOC, but that milk is around $1.79. Very impressive display. How did you acquire it? Are you looking to sell it or just curious as to what it's worth? 5 Quote
mauro23 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Is the milk used for whitening the bricks??? Quote
Huskers1236 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 This picture would have been cooler with a dino-cat in it. Quote
chubz Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 sound like a eBay auction to me...looks nice and i would buy it if the price was right Quote
Brickson Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) Super cool. It looks like ~15K pieces to me. Any other guesses? Assuming clean and not glued and a price of 5-10 cents a piece, bulk pieces is roughly $750-$1500. I would imagine somebody might pay more for the structure itself. Somebody who has a nice house with space. Disclaimer: Just guessing to be a little helpful finding a range for you. Edited November 18, 2015 by Brickson Quote
mauro23 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Why not to ask the Colosseum operaters in Roma? Quote
Will 4 Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 (edited) What did you pay for it? As around that could be the figure unless it was a bargain. Edited November 18, 2015 by Will 4 Quote
