Copterman
Love all of these! Especially the Batman sets. *mouth watering* I'm not a Ghostrider fan but that set is great too, as is the Spidey bridge. zskid00
That little farm tractor with the Scarecrow set is neat and I'm digging the Bat-tank. The minifigure selection is fantastic with all of these. I wish the Ghost Rider's bike was a bit smaller though.
Soadfan4ever
Green Goblin, Hobgoblin, Vulture, Scorpion, Doc Ock, Ghost Rider and Kraven? Yes, please.
Darth_Raichu
Blue Beetle! Katana! Lol Hobgoblin in Ghostrider set. Spidey is most likely there to prevent Hobgolin from getting killed
Lawpepperdine
I like the new webs. Pictures seem to be even bigger over at http://www.thebrickfan.com/
chipbee
Is the batman cycle chase set featuring a kiddy version of batpod?
pete411
Ghost Rider bike and minifig are HOT. We finally get a decent Green Goblin minifig without having to resort to raiding the kiddie section. The Batman Scarecrow set is perfect for a part out. I can see the even the tractor selling nicely on its own. Edited January 26, 2016 by pete411
Alpinemaps
My thoughts: I love the Bridge set. That is just beyond awesome. Fantastic to add to a city landscape. Two of them seem to be a necessity. I like all the minifigs in there. Yes to Kraven, Yes to Spider-Woman, yes to Scorpion, Aunt May, and Green Gobin. The Doc Ock set is just a bit ridiculous, which is why I kinda like it. I don't necessary care about the minis (Classic Vulture is cool), but it's not bad. The Ghostrider set is beyond awesome. Love the minifigs, and love the bike. The DC sets are just *meh*. The minifigure selection is fantastic though. Bummed that it's the newest Blue Beetle, and not the classic Blue Beetle, but I've come to expect that for years now. Love Katana, Captain Boomerang, and Red Hood. Those are all awesome. All together, we've got most of the Suicide Squad now.

I agree with wishing it were the classic blue beetle. it'll do but big miss there for me. the selection of figures in these waves are incredible!! can't wait. while spider-man himself is the same, I love the web projectile in the sets for him. at least it's a new addition. TheOrcKing
At first I was like "What is Doctor Who doing in a Super Heroes set?". Haha. I can't help it. That new hairpiece in gray is just so signature of Peter Capaldi (the minifigure anyway). Moving along, Ghost Rider and Hobgoblin for the win.

jeff_14
Just thought I'd throw this here for one stop viewing of the summer wave. Liking all the Suicide Squad figures making an appearance in the Batman line even if there is no explicit reference to the Squad. http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-dc-and-marvel-super-heroes-summer-2016-official-images/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+LegoEverlasting-LegoReviewsNews+%28The+Brick+Fan+-+LEGO+Reviews+&+News%29
exciter1
Since investors appears to be steering away from Super Heroes as a bankable theme, do we foresee a glut of Super Heroes sets lingering on the shelves in the future? More than the usual stagnated few, but pretty much all of the sets from DC and Marvel? Are heavy heavy discounts going to be the norm until LEGO decides to cut back again. I'm sure they are starting to see the trend, since they are not flying off the shelves any longer?

I know that our family has basically burned out on Super Heroes sets... last one we bought was Black Manta Deep Sea Strike and it's sitting in a box and might get sold. I'd like to collect some of the minifigs I and the kids know well but there is just too many now to really want to complete them all.... ** Edit: At the right discount, it'll be hard to turn down at least 1 for the collection. **
Fenix_2k1
I saw the new superheroes sets in store yesterday and have to say that this year's sumner sets look great, especially the bridge battle. But straight away i was thinking, I'll just wait for the discounts. I guess parents and part outers will pick them up at retail but all the savvy people surely know the discounts won't be far away. I'm very interested to view the build reviews for the Bridge Battle. I want 2 straight away, but I would like to see a review first as well. It's been rock solid for me. In my experience the DC sets seem to move faster than the Marvel ones, but I get them all at good discounts and like Star Wars there will always be a market for comic book character sets. Yeah, my comment was more from a personal perspective. For a while we bought every DC and Marvel set, but the desire to keep up has been lost with the number of sets continuing to grow. The new assortment of minifigs is awesome, I just no longer feel the need to collect every one.

I imagine if you buy early you can sell the minifigs from the second bridge part and pretty much get it for free.
