Has anybody tried buying a BB from here for supposedly £49.96 each?

http://www.culture-crunch.co.uk/building-construction-toys-bdp-1_25/lego-10251-creator-expertnbspndashnbspbank-of-bricks-b01ac1e0ca-odp-3155.html

The code B01AC1E0CA is recognised as LEGO. My gut feeling is that it's crap from Alibaba.

I'd be sooooo tempted to post this on HUKD, but I'm banned, any volunteers? They'd all wet themselves!

EDIT.... it looks like a dodgy website as the payment page is NOT https:// prefixed.

Id say that not being able to READ the box front side (meaning the e-shop owners) and have the set name spelled properly "Brick Bank" instead of "the Bank of Bricks" says it all..  It also violates all possible EU regulations and laws regarding the online commerce - no contact address at all, no Company or Tax ID to be found.. horrible website design..  its definitely a fraud.

So 90% of respondents own 4 or less sets and it is similar for 10246. If they are not telling porkies then either rampant modular hoarding is over or the profile of user here has changed.

What's funny is that hoarding Modulars has become taboo.  But the worm will turn.  It will become very profitable once again.  LEGO will not remake all of these sets and many will not be stashed in Little Timmy's closet in mass amounts.

it's just a repetitive cycle

I caved and bought 2 from SAH.   Not sure how this will do long-term but I figure with a shorter run and less hoarding it may do ok.  It may also just tank.  I like Ed's point that at some point things will turn.  Just wish I knew when....

I'm sure BB will eventual net a decent return, but I personally need a better discount than 20% off before I load up. Sure, free holiday set and VIP points...but 30% off is probably where I'd start hording, 40%+ preferably.
