Harry Blokker
When I rediscovered Lego and started to build, making my own creations I noticed the healthy and positive effect it had on me. Thoughts seem to be less active. It gives you an activity when lifes giving you some difficulties. The care for minifigs, the houres of searching which fig is which, the catogorisation,... it works and I recommend this to everybody! It has a significant positive therapeutic effect on the health. Other people experiencing the same effect? Last weekend I bought a Lego canteen for my 3 year old daughter and the smile was bigger than the Lego head on the bottle :-). We just want the best for our family and ourselfs! I'm also thinking about making goody bags for my best friends with Star Wars and Super heroes stuff (found some cheap things on aliexpress) and I will put the stormtrooper from 75078 in the bag so they are tempted to enjoy, even if it is just a little bit, the wonderful creations of Lego! It makes you forget some of your worries.I checked out the website you mention (aliexpress). Don't you know those are fakes!??? Those knock-offs make me vommit. So all my therapeutic progress I made yesterday with building real lego went down the drain. Thanks!

Harry Blokker
@ Ciglione: the Lego knockoffs are terrible indeed and I hope Lego will deal with this issue. They make me sick to. I was talking about a USB-stick R2-D2 or a key chain off captain america for a cheap price. What is wrong with that to give to someone as a gift? I'm making a gift bag to thank my friends for their support and I look for cheap, cool, small things to give! I don't understand why replied like that :s. fesoferbex
So much intensity! Woooosahhhh I think Lego has a positive effect on most people. I think that's why it's so popular, it connects with many people on a very basic level. I don't suppose it works for everyone, and I do suppose that for some people who are obsessive about organization, Lego can provide a constructive way of applying and training those methodologies. I spend far more time organizing, tracking, etc my Lego bricks than actually building with them.
