tractorboy
Love the Porsche and the tractor, great sets. But are those patterns on the Porsche really all stickers?
chipbee
Wow 3927 pieces! I wanna buy, but where do i store it after building? And the porche looks sweet. Seems like either lego has to create quite a number of new technic panels, or the actual model is going to contain plenty of gaps. My new year resolution is down the drain. kobus
I'm kinda hoping/expecting those patterns are like the camouflage like they do on real cars before release and are not part of the actual model when released. Done now as a little joke.
Darth_Raichu
I want red or silver Porsche, not whatever that color pattern is called
Ensche
Prototype camouflage? Test car camouflage? Anyways... if released that way, I'll try to build it in another color!

It they're stickers, I can see a whole pile of sticker sheets going up for sale since nobody will put them on. It really does look like test car camouflage - that would be a pretty nice touch.

Roy vd M.
That excavator will be the largest Technic set ever... Almost 4,000 parts! Interesting subject; doubt it will be a bestseller though.

Why turn people off the set they are trying to promote?

Why turn people off the set they are trying to promote? because anyone who follows cars, knows that cars are revealed in stages, and camo is used to mask against spy photos before the official reveal. real car guys will get it and eat it up. would love to have them release the sticker sheet as an alternate add on option, to put over the standard pieces.
inversion
Excellent sets. Note that Porsche is 16+, aimed at AFOLs. Basically, our first Technic exclusive.
Darth_Raichu
If I was LEGO, I would sell those plates that make up the Porsche body in different colors as add on packs. Lets say $40 per bag/box, each containing just the plates in 1 color. Maybe metallic grey, gunmetal grey, hot red, and metallic dark blue.

Pomodoro
Here is a video of 42055 in action. Model B is a Mobile Aggregate Processing Plant. It could possibly look like this (pure speculation on my part based on what we've seen so far): Edited January 26, 2016 by Pomodoro

oneknightr
The BWE is a beast! Not sure I would buy it though as I like the traditional construction vehicles and cranes. Maybe I'll change my tune once I see it in person.
Crustybeaver
There's a lot of panels used for the Porsche but boy have they nailed the front end Looks like a tricky build as well with loads of intricacies Volvo EW 160E
suns
Thumbs up from me for the Porsche, excavator and even the little (in comparison) vovlo above - love the pneumatics. Looks like 2016 might be a good year for technic.

Yep - but I love the excavator for the sheer unapologetic meat-headed way that it looks. Brutal! My christmas present to myself last year was the MK2 Crane. I suspect that's this year's christmas sorted. Edited January 26, 2016 by suns
