For those that have bought complete sealed cases in the past, is the advantage in getting three complete sets to sell whole? Getting a predictable quantity of certain mini figs likely to command a premium price? Keeping the box sealed for future resale?

My main objective is to pick up one complete set of series 14 for my personal collection. I'm trying to decide if it's worth picking up a sealed case to sell off the remaining 46 minifigures, or just buy a single complete set and call it a day?

I would say if you can afford a case go for it. The remaining figs might pay off the set you want to keep.

Saw a solitary (rather abused) series 14 box in our local Walmart. Immediately grabbed 13 packs (all unique, yay!) Returned next morning. They were all out. Man! Now they're expecting a (big) shipment of series 14 boxes in "more than a few days time".

I have yet to seem them anywhere in my area.  No Walmart, target or Fred Meyer and they always seem to put them out early.  Maybe on my lunch break today I will make another swing through.  As for reselling these dont seem to be taking off.  When 13 was released I could get 10 or more for Hot Dog and Unicorn this series they all seem to be going for around $7 shipped.  Im sure the harder they become to find and closer to Halloween the price should increase.

went through a box and a third last night at LEGO store in 15 minutes feeling for a complete set.  Werewolf was the problem figure to find... even with that bone piece...

I figured out the trick with the werewolf. I didn't realize from looking at it from the front that the back part of the head piece is pointy. So you have to feel for a big head piece, with what feels like a ponytail. Then confirm with the bone.

I usually start with the bone. I know, I know, "that's what she said"...

lol that's funny. But just a heads up you should be careful what you post because the mods on here are super sensitive and I'm sure that comment will offend somebody and get your post deleted. I'm sure this post will get deleted too because the mods hate me for some reason lol

There was a show that existed with that phrase for the longest but I wouldn't be offended, if these posts are removed at all...

It's just posts like this that show you are obviously the offended victim.  I've had posts removed, by me, by others, no biggie.  Move on...

I haven't had that issue. I've sold seventy to eighty of them at an average price of 8.50. Some going for more some less. Like I stated tiger lady is number one right she's been going for 9-10

of course in three days when these hit the market I expect that to come down and then go back up as supplies become harder to find

speaking of which does Lego mass produce or do you guys think they limit the runs on these cmf sets
