I got the last 12 packs out of a TRU yesterday.  My wife even likes them but I had to teach her the art of the smoosh.

Doubles on Witch, Tiger Lady and Zombie pirate.  But I have rocker and Insect man and were wolf so I have 6 unique from the package so far and a few to open with kids tonight.

The Targets I've been to haven't had any sort of limit on these. The employees I've had helping me have been great and extremely helpful. One guy was trying to get me to buy the unopened box and I probably should have in hindsight.

yes, you should have. I went to three targets this morning. All showed between 120-180 in stock on the target tracker. Same as you, the employees were all very helpful and brought out what they had in the back, since none of the stores had them on the sales floor. Unfortunately, what they brought out in each store was the hanging retail display for the side cap, and not a sealed rectangular case. I passed on everything because I only want the sealed rectangular case. I had luck in getting one last weekend from one store, but I would still like to acquire one more. They seem to be hard to come by, at least in my neck of the woods.

Does the Specter's head really glow in the dark, or are there perhaps variations that don't?  I thought I saw somewhere earlier that it was supposed to - maybe there are just lazy ones about. ;-)

The one I have glows.  I don't believe that the Banshee does however.  I have both heads reversed as I like how the blank face looks compared to the printed one.

Yes I had the same thing happen to me.  I asked if they had any in and he brought out the 60 pack case sealed in the lego box.  I couldnt believe it.  He said you want the whole box right and I said you can sell me the whole thing?  Really cant believe I walked out with a case after not seeing a single one ever.

Unless there is a corporate policy, this will always happen and be at the mercy of 'social justice' minded managers overstepping.

As mentioned before, the best way to do Target is to give the DCPI and ask them to check backstock for the case.  Most workers will obliged with you ask politely and nicely of them.   While you're waiting, straighten out their lego aisle--they'll notice that when they come back and raises your chances of getting the box.

I have personally had issue with minifigures plus in the past.  I had ordered a sealed case of series 11, and a week later they told me that they did not have any in stock and once they got more, they were raising prices. They offered to cancel and I refused, saying that the sale was an agreement and that I expected my case for the price I paid.  It is not my/your fault that they fraudulently list items without knowing what they have.  In the end, they sent me the case 3 weeks later than promised and I left them negative feedback in return.

We are sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with our store. On very rare occasions we do run out of stock on an item, and then we do our best to order more in as quickly as possible.

Fortunately eBay has changed its system so that we can now suspend a listing from being available when we run out of stock. In the past, however, in order to maintain the listing and all transactions associated with it, company policy was to raise the price to the value it would be sold at for the next shipment we received and to edit the listing with red letters at the top of the description stating when they would next be in stock.

We understand that it is frustrating for an order to be canceled when you have already purchased it, and that may feel like a violation of contract, but it is actually not a violation of eBay policies to cancel an order. In fact, it would be a violation of policy for us to leave an order open (keeping the buyers money) and not ship it out for weeks until the shipment arrives.

Canceling an order is the safest option for the buyer as well. After 30 days, PayPal no longer allows a buyer to open a case to get their money back. That being said, if it looks like it will take longer than 30 days for the next shipment to come in, we would be sure to cancel the order to protect the buyer and ensure that we did not violate policy.

I understand that in your case, the shipment was sent out three weeks later. That is still a safe amount of time, but of course, we can never know exactly how long it will take to find more stock and order it in. That is why representatives are trained to ask the buyer if they would consent to canceling the order.

I am glad to hear that you were willing to leave the order open for a few weeks so that we could still send you the product at the previous price and maintain the agreed upon price. My sincerest apologies for the delay in shipment. We do our very best to make sure we never run out of stock, but it does happen sometimes. Again, I am happy to report that this will not be the case anymore with eBay's new listing "out of stock" options.

Kind regards,

Jon

I bought a case of Series10 (the one with Mr. Gold).  The box had a broken seal on one side and another that looked like it was glued back on.  When I asked for a refund, I was told that it's not possible.  And, when I posted about this here on Brickpicker, my post was removed because the mod felt that there were too many positives over time with the ebay seller so mine shouldn't be posted...yeah, that makes sense.

Also very sorry to hear about this issue with our stock. I hope that a representative was able to explain to you that we never tamper with the boxes, nor do the distributors we purchase from. We have no reason to do so. Unfortunately with all the shipping and weather these boxes go through, some people are led to believe that the seals on their boxes were tampered with. However, this is just not the case. It is very often due to TLG adding additional seals or to the tabs just rubbing off. The reason we ship in the original LEGO brown boxes is so that buyers can examine that box to ensure that the box inside would never have been tampered with (as it is often very difficult to recognize a truly "tampered with" box).

Hope this information helps you and other CMF fans who may wonder about seals on boxes. I can say with confidence that this is accurate after seeing the same problems with thousands of boxes but yet confirming 100% accurate contents.

On a positive note, I have ordered multiple cases from Minifigures Plus and have always received a quality product.  I ordered 10 Series 10 Mr. Gold CMFs and they were all in excellent condition and sealed.  I am not saying every order (out of thousands) is perfect, but they have an excellent track record with Jeff and I.

Thank you, Ed! We appreciate the kind words and understanding!

If anything, I appreciate that there is opportunity to have open discussion about concerns with services and products on Brick Picker to give fairness to both buyers and sellers. I know that often that is not the case with eBay feedback, where some only look at the negative, or with eBay messages, where buyers often do not share their concerns before leaving feedback. I hope that any discussion about our pre-order does not take away from or sidetrack the thread too much. Thank you for the opportunity to share.

The bottom has dropped off on these.  Ohh well.  What's next?

Wait for them to disappear and watch the prices head back up north.  What did you think was going to happen when they became available everywhere?  As others said, I just saw them in Target for the first time today, smooshed about 20 I wanted between a few stores.  I think I finished my personal set and got some extras, but will keep looking until they run out, this is an amazing series.

I definitely agree this series has great potential.  It's just the first wave of venture capitalism is postponed until a much later date.  The first round, my area targets and walmarts mostly had one case each, and some of the targets put them out 2 weeks early.  Now, they are showing 3 cases in stock in most cases.  I completely thought this was going to happen.  I knew there was a limited window. With that said, like most mini fig series it will now be prominent for a while, then by january of next year they will slowly phase out as the next series hits the market.
