It's not exclusive to anything in central Europe - got no idea if it was ASDA exclusive in the UK but I highly doubt it.

But, at least in Germany, it seems as if this set was available via only a couple of retailers (like TRU, Galeria). As is the whole line.

Pushing the 80 euro barrier on Ebay europe now, less than 2 weeks after retirement.

I´m going to put this in the list of investment winners of sets retired in 2015 along with Birds (if it stays sold out), Microfighters S1, Villa Savoye and ToO.

Who would have predicted that list on 1/1/15?

Last sub 80 euros one sold while I was writing the post. Only 3 left below 90 euros now - faster growth than Arctic Plane got....  This cannot end well, can it?

What was the RRP of RE in Europe?

Our RRP was $69.95 (AUD) and they've been virtually flying out the door for me at $144-150 shipped.

50-55 euros and 40 GBP. Quite overpriced compared to the US.

Over here it was 49,99 and you could easily get them with a 10-20 Percent discount for the longest time.

Welp, just reading over this bread quickly in the Lego aisle at Walmart, I looked at 8 RE and passed, yet again. Profit margin is really thin on this one.

were you reading over bread in the LEGO aisle

or thinking about LEGO in the bread aisle???

And it seems that Germany and the Uk have all the stock. Beanie baby man sold 43 in one week and has 2 left and a few other players are shooting them off one after another.

Netting $5/set is still better than $0/set (looking at my TLM sets) ;)

All JW sets including IR &  RE were in stock at the Northshore mall in ma this morning.  Stopped by on the way to pickup my wife's new harp, picked up a minty Red 5 and 2 REs.  Stopped by on the way back, a different manager, 2 more REs and the last minty red 5 (2 crunched ones left on shelf).  Got a couple of calendars. Refreshing to not have the manager greet me by name and then not let me by more than 1 of anything like at Westfarms Mall.

They normally get re-stock on Tuesday. I went to all 4 lego stores around Boston last Saturday, all have lots of RE.
