Someone pointed out that Amazon.co.uk (link) had them in stock yesterday, and it's still available today.  Either people across the pond don't care for this set, or this may be the first sign of the restock we have all been talking about/fearing.

i think its a combo of availability at other retailers (ncluding LEGO Shop at Home) but more importantly this amazon restock wasnt large - i noticed it coming back a few days ago and there were only 160 units in stock. today there around 59 left.

Not caring much would appear to be the explanation.....

I also think there is the mentality of clearing whole shops and websites like they do across the pond for newer sets. No ones really panicking.

I also think some people (in the uk at least) are waiting for decent discounts on this set.

I only have 4 bought with various discounts, should be picking up some more at 20% off this weekend.

Just FYI my order on SAH (US) placed 8/27 with expected ship date of 9/11 (I think) is still sitting as "Waiting for new stock."

It has a lonely, ominous sort of feel to it... just sitting there by itself... isolated and alone, probably scared, buried in the middle of a stack of completed orders...

I want to reassure it.... I want to tell it that it will soon be filled.  But the words sound hollow in my own head, and would be just a lie that neither one of us believes....

^This I prefer, so they don't throw it underneath the box of whatever I'm ordering.

Funny story about that. I was organizing sets and putting my "investments" in 24x20 boxes per Emazers recommendation and I unboxed (2) ToO and in the bottom of each box were promo polys. "I don't remember that promo" I thought. It was the Demolition Driller. Fortunately it never did any drilling.

24x20 boxes? - are those the dimensions of the box in inches?  Cardboard?  Sorry to ask I just really need to get my sets organized, right there they are pouring out of closets and falling on my head.
