75920 - Raptor Escape

Seems like Raptor Rampage and Indominous Rex are starting to drop in the amount of resellers since they haven't had heavy restocks lately.  Trex on the other hand pretty much hit 5x on resellers from where it was a month ago.  Ohh well.  If Raptor Rampage remains hard to find, or scarce, I suspect it will bode well for Raptor Escape.  Interestingly, European Stock levels are sitting at big 0's on all sets.  They are also gone in Canada, and Austrialia from what I gather.  So, who knows. Those are just the current straight shooting facts.  Nothing more.

Not gone from everywhere in Canada, but close. IRex available in decent amounts, TRex available almost everywhere, Raptor Rampage and Raptor Escape very hard to find, Dilosophorus and Pteranadon available in a lot of places.

The two raptor sets seem to be the most popular frankly... probably because of the price point on IRex.

(is IRex an ok abbreviation for everyone?)

Currently in US RR is by far the rarest. IR pops up daily and has been in all 3 lego stores locally all week. RE still pops in and is obtainable although has gotten scarcer again. RR has been non existent.  Maybe the delay is raptors. The other 3 are abundant.  RE still seems to sell better but RR is one to watch as well

I'm curious guys, what's your plan for RE if it does come back in full force?  I have 20 that can be returned till mid Oct will you return them, flip them or maybe still keep them?   Or wait it out to see how much of a restock we get?  Never been in this position before so wanted to ask the elders

I can't seem to help myself buying them when I come across them!

I will not be concerned unless we see more sets at Walmart with a new production run. I believe there may be a new run to fulfill orders at LEGO Shop at Home but not sure about more stock going out to stores. If it does then you have four choices, return to store, dump for small/zero profit now, hold for holiday and hope kids are still interested and there is another shortage, or hold for long term.

I am sitting on over 50 of these. I will be begin to unload them at 2x. I do believe this set will be capped by 75917 just because of better minifigs plus a vehicle that was in the movie.

Nice haul!

22R5 seems to be making a big push here in Canadian WM's. Before a few days ago this set was nowhere in my area, now it looks as if the WM warehouses sent out a bunch of them to just about every store in the area. Places that had no stock yesterday now have stock today. I've been gobbling them up as they pop in stock.

It is promising to see shipments of the other JW stuff being put on shelves locally with 29/30R5 and "fresh" RE stock still at 22R5.

Guess i have a few places to wipe out (again) on my way home tonight...

Grabbed 5 sets today on Lego!

Was it "available now"?  Or just "will ship in x days"?  Those that have the "will ship" seem to be backordered for more than a month, and they linger beyond the declared ship date that is stated when they are briefly available.  Until you get a "in warehouse", don't count your chickens.
