fossilrock Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Yeah, if there is a set I really like and think is worthy of an investment, I think it's good to spread out your purchase over multiple retailers. Obviously, with a set like raptor escape, that is exclusive to walmart and lego.com that throws a monkey wrench to land a lot more. So, regardless, I just think it's wise to spread out the 5 limit over multiple purchase events. And not try and bag them all at once. I think that just screams "reseller" and could get you flagged by the management that fulfill the order. Quote

fossilrock Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 (edited) Raptor Escape back to sold out on lego.comHave a sneaking suspicion the same is bound to happen to Trex and IR in the coming weeks. Edited August 1, 2015 by fossilrock 3 Quote
HappyHawkeye Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Just had two of these ship from lego.com from an order placed a couple of weeks ago. Yay! 1 Quote

Mrbigz8657 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 (edited) The walmarts, targets and toysrus stores have not had any skus on the shelf for at least two weeks. Completely gone. Most toy department managers I've talked to said they are not expecting much Edited August 5, 2015 by Mrbigz8657 Quote
BrickChick Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 The larger Targets around me just reset their Lego aisles today. They have shelf tags for all 5 JW sets (minus Walmart exclusive RE), but none of the stores have any stock and no one seems to know when they will be getting anything shipped to them.I didn't find any RE at the many Walmarts I stopped at from metro Orlando to Atlanta on my recent vacation, despite the inventory tracker saying they were there. fossilrock Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Looks like there was a restock in europe today, most sets got at least a few hundred. Quote
jadeirene Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Found Raptor Escape at the Valley Fair LEGO Store in San Jose, CA. All Jurassic World sets had been restocked and they were limiting purchases to one per customer. Quote

zskid00 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Just had two of these ship from lego.com from an order placed a couple of weeks ago. Same here. I have an order of 5 on the way. I took it to the limit. Quote
mudcatsfan Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Has anyone seen any restocks in stores?I saw a restock (4 shiny new boxes) in a Walmart in North Carolina. The walmart stock tracker didn't have it, but there they were after being gone for weeks. So perhaps a restock, or perhaps just found old stock. The date stamps were 09R5 (earlier run) so perhaps it was just old stock found in the back, or perhaps old stock shipped to them after being in some distribution warehouse for a long time. 1 Quote
Jersey Crewmax Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 I picked up 5 at a Lego store in NJ and their seal codes were older ( I want to say 07R5) as well. The store has all the JW sets as well as 2 ToO Quote
jadeirene Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 OT but I will be in that store tomorrow. Did they have any R5, ToO, PS, or PC?No R5, ToO, or PS. I don't remember about PC. 1 Quote
fossilrock Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 (edited) Raptor Escape has moved to "call to check product availability". Usually when it hits this status, it seems retirement is imminent. ---------Well disregard... it moved back to sold out. Which status is it lego? Edited August 7, 2015 by fossilrock 2 Quote

Which status is it lego?I don't believe LEGO Shop at Home status messages at all. By the above logic, the JW video game for XBox 360 and Wii U would also mean retirement is imminent. Quote

Doesn't mean you still can't find them in the clerance section of walmart 3 years later... Lego video games are not really a marker, IMO. Quote
