I'm looking to pick-up some plastic storage cases suitable for stowing my personal CMF series collection and dimensions characters. Below I've included a sample picture of what I'm looking to purchase. There's a bazillion available on Amazon, but it's hard to get a good feel for quality and size from the listings. If anyone has found a good product they recommend, could you please provide me a link? 1. color is largely irrelevant, but clear works well. 2. adjustable compartments are a plus. Should hold 16 to 18+ mini-figures without issue. 3. price of less than $5-$7 per unit is the sweet spot 4. any conatiners that stack/lock together would make an added bonus. I have several of these that work well and are cheap: http://www.harborfreight.com/18-divider-storage-container-medium-94457.html If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, pick them up in-store and use the 20% off any item coupon that’s in practically every local ad mailer.

Tedron
These are getting very sparse around me in the uk now. Nowhere left really to buy in bulk.

Deanfjr
My local stores still have stock piles of these, don't worry they are not going anywhere anytime soon....

I find the distribution of these interesting. Some places like your area have many, while others do not. They have been non-existent in stores around me for quite some time.

I use something similar that I pick up from MIchael's. https://www.michaels.com/darice-17-compartment-bead-organizer/10091119.html They are regularly on sale for $2 in store, and "50% off one item" coupons are common if you sign up for their email ads. The height is just right for a minifig, and you can store up to 3-4 in each compartment if you want.

The only time I was able to get these CMF's was when I was in LA visiting my friends and family and that was in May.
iahawks550
It's strange to see the regional differences. I saw probably 5-6 boxes of these at local Wal-Marts this weekend. I would have bought a box but they were open with a few packs missing (and I didn't want to pay sales tax)
c_rpg
These consistently sell out over here too. Every time a new box gets put on the shelves it is gone/empty in a few days. Last box I saw was two weeks ago, so it's looking good.

My 2 Targets and 1 TRU sold out almost instantly, and never had a large quantity on the shelf. Each of the 5 Walmarts in my area had zero, or one box on the shelf. Most sold out completely or have 3-4 packs left. I can't decide the reason they are non-existent in my region: #1. I have an overly aggressive, but secret squirrel BrickPicker in the area? #2. LEGO is extremely popular in the comminity and a normal stock level got snapped up almost instantly? #3. The stores in my maker received a very limited distribution of this line for whatever reason? I don't think regular every day people will see these and buy more than a handful. If I were a parent, I'd grab a couple to shut the kids up, then go home, get online and buy the ones I want. I wouldn't try to keep buying blind bags hoping I get what I want/need.

Brickerbrack
I haven't seen these in weeks at my Lego store. Never saw them in Target/Walmart etc. I asked at the Lego store since I was there today, I was told they are expecting more in the fall...
