I've already gone through roughly 2 boxes. Only a few singles left at this point. Once the initial rush hits, kids will be begging to be like their friends who got them. That's where I think the big hit happens.

Ive sold 4 cases of these things as one complete set at a time.

PRICES went up for me AFTER release and sold faster.

was asking 105 shipped before street date- took around 72 hrs to sell a case

After today asked 115 shipped for a set----  sold 6 sets in 4 hrs.

Im going to target tomorrow and buying 2 cases tomorrow- they have 6 available.....will be posting at BIN 125 for a set Im thinking tomorrow .....

No offense, but you are selling too low, especially having them this early.

I had a few hour window where I was the only seller selling a complete unopened set..  Sold off a set for 180.  I have my doubt i'll ever see that price point again on these because others have jumped in..  Like Series 14 these will drop like a rock as more come onto market.

Thanks for the input-

Part of why I posted was to seek out opinion.
It felt low, as I was swamped with 20+ offers of even lower price.
Im all for price consistency across the board as much as possible to prevent undercutting fellow BP and resellers.
It is a service we provide in the sorting so fair pricing is imperative.

Must mention this is the first I dabbled in Minifig Series reselling so was unsure where to start.

Thanks for your input!

Here's my experience with these. I don't always like to play the minifig game, because i've been stuck with some waves because there is a short window to blow them out. Honestly, i've bought cases before, sold a lot of the complete sets off, but was stuck holding a bunch of figures because the market dropped to retail in days.  Then you have to hold them for years, unless you want to just sell out and cash out of them (usually at that point at a minor loss). So, i'm not going deeper than a few of these, because I don't want to be up to my neck in disney minifigs, because guarantee these will have 500 sellers on ebay, and 40 listings on amazon in two weeks.. but, if you land them within a 2 week to 3 week window before their release date, and about a 2 week window after release, you can make decent money on them.  But it's truly about timing and estimating how many you can sell.

Although, it's usually at best around 80% profit after fees..  2 weeks from now it will be a money loser.  It's the easiest quick money you can make in lego, usually for new products.  Although there is time in that you have to smoosh the packs.  Sealed and verified packs will sell higher than opened ones.

I grabbed around 200 packs of these little things and I can't figure out for the life of me how you guys manage to figure out who is who. I think I read it was smoothing or something... but I have no idea how to do it. I tried a couple and got them totally wrong. Haha, oh well, looks like I'm buying the gf a nice dinner so she can figure out who is who otherwise I'll be stuck with a mountain of them. There goes the profits!

Pro-tip: try and understand what you're dealing with (what do they consist of, how do they assemble, how would the pieces feel (perhaps try it with putting some known pieces in a bag and try to smoosh them). Will get you going no time.

As with anything else, practice makes perfect. Check out smoosh guides and practice, practice, practice.

@Kneel_Before_Zod Just get yourself a magic sorting basket and be done with it. At 2 seconds max per bag, you're looking at a total investment, time-wise, of about 6.7 minutes to sort them all.

Or wait.... damn, sorting baskets only work for sets with 16 unique figures. Looks like you're on the hook for dinner and a movie if you can't figure out how to smoosh.

I found these figures fairly easy to smoosh, the only one that caught me out was daisy duck. Donald and Daisy duck have seperate tails so in one i found Donald's hat, the other his tail which i assumed must be a bow "Doh". This was in the shop smooshing but i did double check at home before i opened it. I just need a Daisy duck to complete the set, im very impressed with the figures and i hope they make a series 2 (which is probably gauranteed).

What is this smoosh? It is not even an English word.  Now I have to buy a basket too? Explain yourself.

These bags are so tiny in my BIG manly hands......

Mickey and Minnie threw me off a bit too. Stitch's head is also like Mickey's so that can throw you off guard.  And the heads of the Cheshire Cat and Alien are close enough to where you have to find the antenna to verify it.

Regardless, this is a great series..  I'm sure they will make 10 series of they Disney line..   While I like the regular themes, I sort of like the licensed themes a bit better.

Sorry you can only get magic sorting baskets on the east coast of Canada... Smooshing is the process of feeling up polybags to determine the contents without opening it. You should know that by now. Smoothing is what you do with an iron to unwrinkle clothing.

I bet polybags aren't the only thing that's so tiny in those hands.

You're wrong - they're found in the west coast.

and food courts - handy for rapidly deploying and retrieving ones wares in public places.  Vancouver is the location you seek.

Every store in my area is completely sold out.  Here's hoping they get more shipments.
