Wait so cases don't have the distribution that was described on Eurobricks?

Nope. They have what has been posted. Also I labeled my sets by the serial and all 113 (missing 7) came from 2 serial sets

According to Lego, the boxes are filled by hand from random bins so I fail to understand the supposed consistency of equal distribution.  As to the prior post, it makes perfect sense in that case.

Now....anyone have 2 cases to sell?  Trying to find 'em for a giveaway for my school.  Minifigs+ hasn't responded to any of my messages on here (or via Ebay) and am not paying 350/box.  Ugh.

I still have quite a bit left...

Genie 7
Aladdin 4
Stitch 7
robin hood 6
Hook 5
Malificent 5
Ursula 5
Ariel 5
Buzz 4
Alien 5
Syndrome 7
Incredible 6
Mickey 7
Minnie 4
Daisy 5
donald 5
Cheshire 5
Alice 4

@jstodda & @Zippy

Did you actually open the packs and verify the contents?

I opened perhaps 10% of them (one per series) to validate it. Once I had a set validated, I could compare all the others to that set.

By the way the DOT or BUMP method works about 90% of the time as long as the serial numbers are the same. Example:  Every Mickey package from series 110B6 had the exact same configuration of DOTS or BUMPS on the package. It made it easy to have a second confirmation.

That is just 58 counts.  You were missing 2.

Did you open them up or just smoosh / check the dot codes ?

I opened 1 each after validating them via SMOOSH. Then I validated the other smooshers with the dot codes and they match 95% of the time. I had two boxes with 2 different sets, 114 total (missing 6 from set 110B6). There was a few examples where I pulled 3 Alices in a row in the same box section. Here is my count from BOTH boxes:

Genie
Aladdin
Stitch
robin hood
6  Hook
Malificent
Ursula
Ariel
Buzz
Alien
Syndrome
Incredible
 8  Mickey
Minnie
Daisy
donald
Cheshire
Alice

Has anyone gotten their packs from Minifigures Plus?  Or has anyone even gotten an order confirmation?  I paid my invoice after contacting them through this site and I haven't heard back.

I think they had unprecedented interest, and also don't start getting stock until the street date. From what I was told I'd expect to get the one case I ordered through them in 2-3 weeks from now. I look at it as avoiding the initial mad rush, but I'm totally jealous of people with stores willing to sell them a case early!

I'm in the same boat as you. Got my invoice, paid it and haven't heard anything since. I'm new to the pre ordering process so I thought this was business as usual. From what I've heard Minifigures Plus has a great reputation so I'm not too concerned about it.

I got a little antsy and went to a local big box store to smoosh some bags. People must be all over these minifigs because they had two boxes on the shelf and every one had tell tale smooshing damage. I did my part and found one Ursula that someone missed =)

This line of CMF is wildly popular even in the northwoods of Wisconsin, I can't even imagine how many requests Minifigures Plus had.

No offense, but I cannot 100% rely on method that by your own admission is only 90% accurate.

Which is why I opened anything questionable. I'm 100% sure of my count since I've sold 4 complete sets all of which have been opened now.

Today I found THIS another box. 2 Walmarts cleaned out now.

Ok. So what is the actual distribution of that sealed box from earlier today ? The one with only 58 count.

It does not help anyone here to post incomplete count, or a combined count from 1 sealed and 1 opened box

Not me. It seems to take a few weeks beyond the release date. Fine with me though. I have no desire to chase down and smoosh.

For those wondering about the shipping date, we expect to ship mid-May. The product is scheduled to arrive around the 16th of May and shipments will go out within days of this. As always, there is a possibility that this will be a few days shorter or longer, but if everything is according to schedule, I would assume products arriving to all domestic buyers around the 19th of May.

I'm not sure why so many are wondering when their order is going to ship. MinifiguresPlus posted the timeframe when they first made the offer.

Because with Amazon now offering 2hr or same-day delivery, nobody is patient enough anymore to wait a whole month :)

I managed to get 13 of the Disney minifigures today so im well chuffed. I think i shall be going on a smooshing mission tomorrow to complete the set. I never bother buying any Lego when its first out as i like to wait for deals but i seem to have been swept up in all the hype and excitement.

Grabbed 54 of these today... Didn't have time to smoosh, so just did a raid and came home and smooshed them.  Almost got 2 complete sets, just need an extra Pan and Genie.  However, I scored a lot of the 3 per case figures..  I'll probably complete 4 sets, and call it good on this line.  I think Maleficent, Hook, Ariel and Ursula will be the winners in this one.  I personally dig the Cheshire Cat and rank him my favorite.

Got the following,

Stitch - 4
Toy Story Alien - 4
Buzz Lightyear - 4
Genie - 1
Aladdin - 2
Maleficent - 3
Alice - 4
Cheshire Cat - 4
Daisy Duck - 3
Donald Duck - 4
Minnie Mouse - 2
Mickey Mouse - 4
Mr Incredible - 2
Syndrome - 2
Peter Pan - 1
Captain Hook - 3
Ursula - 4
Ariel - 3

I let my boy open a few of these today.  Overall, I will say these are very nicely done. One of the absolute best series of the entire minifigure line.

However, i'm hesitant in investing further in these and doubt i'll buy more than 3 complete sets. With the advent of larger players not only selling cases to the secondary market, but also pretty much controlling the price point in the foreseeable future, selling these as investment have turne into such a slow grind. You pretty much have to sell off your complete sets or figures before they get in and release their cases to the horde.  Who knows how many cases in the warehouse these companies, but my guess is it's quite a lot.

I suspect this disney wave will be so vastly horded, that holding them will take a long time to sell out.  You probably have to see it as a 3 year investment to double your money, and hope their bad business tactics crater in that time...  So, i'm bailing after I sell off my stock. Once I read that everyone is getting their cases in, that will be time to call it quits. There is so much better alternatives today to double your cash in less than a year, that grindin with minifigures is a pointless venture.

My two cents.
