jonnyhanukkah
what are people paying for full boxes and where are you getting them?
Skunk
These look like they have disappeared from the Australian and European stores. Hopefully short term only.

Independent stores who disregard any policy. They are too small for LEGO to care. Edited June 19, 2016 by inversion

Unless that is a ruse pointing towards Series 16, there will probably be another round of availability later this year. Those who don't recognize that will see scarcity this summer and prices might spike. Just my $0.02...

In the (Dutch) LEGO Catalogue for July - December 2016 there's a mention at the Disney Minifigures page about a Series-2 coming out in September: So that mention about "check back in late fall" for the 71012 series sounds rubbish when at that time a series-2 is coming out!

This makes no sense to me since they're to release Series 16 in September. Now, you're saying they're releasing Disney series 2 at the same time... fossilrock
I could see a series 2 in January, after series 16 has come and gone. With how popular these are, why not? I don't even think there has been an announcement yet on what comes after series 16, right? Usually, we know a bit about that series about 6 months before hand, so it's about time the leaks to the January 2017 wave is at least hinted at. Maybe this is the first "hint".. Darth_Raichu
For once I am going to let the mass panic and hysteria spread Just to put more kerosene to the fire Per Google, the part that @Haay circled is translated to: "There is a new series in September ! it is exciting" ("Er komt een nieuwe serie uit in september! dat wordt spannend")
jaylay
It probably won't be a Disney series 2 but another cmf series. Series 2 should be out January, that should be on point.
Sfcommando14
My Dutch is poor, but doesn't it just say a new series, which is prob 16? That doesn't mean there won't be another run of Disney CMF. Disney and Lego are both good at making money and not doing another run wouldn't make sense.

It doesnt say "there will be a new disney minifigures series 2". Crisis adverted!
Alpinemaps
Is the assumption that it's Disney Series 2 because of the marking on the face of the minifigure? It looks more like a question a mark, but I can see how it could look like a '2'.
HandyHand
Reading comments here makes me realise that LEGO could also mean that a generic new series of Minifigures comes out in September. I interpreted it as a new series of Disney minifigs coming out in September, capitalising on the success of their 'first' series of Disney minifigs.
c_rpg
If a second Disney series was coming in September we would probably have seen a leak or some rumors by now. Other than that, "beperkte oplage" = "limited edition".
Miami Bomb Squad
I think lego will flood the market with series 1 soon. No need to fear about series 2. On the contrary, I'm afraid Lego might strike a deal with Disney to sell them at their parks........Indefinitely
fantomas007
There is no reason for TLG for not producing serie 2 of disney CMF. First, there is a lot of important characters missing (many princesses, man heroes, evil characters, etc), second, Disney CMF are very well selling. These have been stated as limited edition many times now. But I have no doubts, the lego factories are currently churning out tens of thousands of new cases of these, and they will be back. I think demand just outstripped supply, kind of like last years JW.
