Series 16 is right around the corner, so the seller looks like an idiot, not knowing which series he's selling...
Darth_Raichu
I have been dealing with CMF long enough to know there are uninformed people on both sides
damnsanders
Got it, thanks. I'll be following closely for the second round since I missed out on the first batch. How is it done with MinifiguresPlus? Though eBay or straight up Paypal? I assume they'll post here and let us know? They invoice you through PayPal. At least that's what happened when I ordered a case from them earlier this month. famman84
I still haven't seen any in stores around me. While these could always become easily available down the road, I don't remember any minifigure series that was this hard to get. So really all bets are off when it comes to this series.

These were out early and in quantity. Just look at previous posts where members got 4+ boxes to flip before release date. There are also more listings on eBay and Amzn than any previous CMF. Just because you do not see them, does not mean these are not widely distributed. 2. You guys really should read the 2nd sentence in that post of mine On 5/8/2016 at 1:17 PM, Darth_Raichu said: The only question is, how many QFLL & brickvestors are gobbling these up as they show up at stores

But just because they were out early and in quantity in some places, does not mean they were available everywhere. They have been impossible to find in my area. I know plenty of collectors in my area who are yet to see these. And the fact that these are impossible to find in some areas is valuable info for those of us who sell at shows or in brick and mortars, because we have buyers who don't like shopping online. So I appreciate hearing that others are having the same experience trying to find these. Edited May 12, 2016 by dmc

LEGO did send these out to more outlets than previous CMFs (ie. wide distribution), which @Neosphinx disagreed with. I was just giving some evidence to my earlier statement. I can do that too I never said that you said that it was available everywhere. I am just trying to help people make money, which I thought was the point I am just noting that regardless of how widely distributed it is, if people are having a hard time finding these, then there is an opportunity there.

I have visited 6 large toy-retailers yesterday. 2 of them had not received any of these. The only shop I found some left is because the store clerk didn't even know they had them. On webshops in Belgium and Holland, these are all sold out. Yes there is QFLL buying up boxes, but I never had issues finding any of the previous CMF at normal prices. WIDELY distrtibuted, perhaps, but not in my country.

HandyHand
Damn! I saw a Dutch brick-store which offered 71012 boxes (brown LEGO box, 60 packs, no display case) for €150. They had 9 boxes in stock. Then my phone rang and I had to answer it first. Came back, wanted to make an order... Unavailable any longer. fossilrock
I think in the states these are widely distributed (at least for now). Not so sure about Europe.
Darth_Raichu
They are available at LEGO Shop at Home in Belgium, Germany, UK, Italy, Switzerland, Norway. All limit 20. Those were just a few EU LEGO Shop at Home sites I checked in a span of 3 minutes I assume the other LEGO Shop at Home sites have them in stock as well. Feel free to confirm / refute.

The European LEGO Shop at Home sites are front-ends to the same back-site. Meaning: you don't have to check individual EU LEGO Shop at Home sites for stock because the stock is the same for all of them. They only use different sites to cater for (A) language differences, and (B) price-differences.

Lego Collector 777
This maybe too early and the prices for each mini figure is a bit all over the place right now , but does anyone have any ideas which disney minifigures after they retire are going to sell for the most?? any ideas or thoughts on this??
donbee
I see these everywhere. I was able to only get 8 packs at target one week before release. I was in Canada on release day, so I feared I had missed out. But I got them in target for $3.49 I got them for $3.49 at TRU with a coupon plus a free cpt America poly. I see them at Walmart. And I saw them at Barnes where I can get 10% off wothout effort. I expect to see them at Walgreens and booksmillion, the Disney Store eventually too. That doesn't include Lego stores (far from me) or LEGO Shop at Home. I stopped buying them, except at TRU, decent deal. I fear the market will be flooded with these for the next year or two. Only hope is if they make this an annual series. Then we'll have to watch which ones don't get repeated. Alice and Chesire maybe. I can see an incredibles sequel in the next 3 years, which would bring on a series of Lego sets. I don't see another Alice in wonderland any time soon. thlien
FYI, Just received a shipping confirmation and tracking # from Minifigures Plus... placed the order April 12th.
jaylay
Boy won't be surprised if these play like any other cmf series. There all over the place the first few months, then eventually fade away as a new cmf series enters. Get as much as you can for future holds now or pay handly for them later.
