Idk how you guys smoosh I couldn't figure any of them out minus Ursula (obvious packaging) I just got frustrated and decided to open the packages at the top left to look inside with a flash light...lol

Have one set left..took a OBO of 98 dollars shipped. Went from 135 to 115 to 105 now I'm gonna be happy if I get 100 for this last set

What are your guys thoughts on this set after retirement? I have one set left like I mentioned..debating if I should just cancel the auction and hold for like a year+? Thoughts

My personal opinion would be to put them away and forget about them for a few years. At this point everyone is undercutting each other, and there will soon be an influx of supply available to the masses. Some people have been reporting that there isn't a figure to be found anywhere in their market, while others are just the opposite and seem to have as many as they want to buy available to them. If you already cashed in on the initial launch then I'd consider that a win and wait with your other set to see what these can do once they are retired. Disney characters will always be popular, so there will certainly still be a market for these down the road. I only bought one sealed case, which I am keeping sealed, and already have it in cold storage.

The pyramid scheme that distributes their cases and sets will flood the market soon, and that amount will keep the market suppressed for years.  I don't see these as great investments since these outlets came on the scene.  Better to sell out now, and move on.  You'll never see these sets hit 130 to 150 again, unless you want to wait out these distribution businesses, which resembles a pyramid scheme, and that will take many years.

Like Terry mentioned above, sealed cases are probably the only way to go.  Breaking up into sets, well, that will take much longer to make a profit on, especially in about another week as these prices continue to drop 10.00 to 20.00 a day until they hit RRP.

Calling minifigures+ a pyramid scheme or even "resembles a pyramid scheme" is a little much in my opinion. I think you have no idea what an actual pyramid scheme looks like. The only promise minifigures+ makes is for a good delivered at a fair price. They don't guarantee you anything beyond that. Never have I seen them make claims or try to get you to recruit others. They are just further up the distribution chain than the rest of us, but that can be said for Wal-Mart, target and toys r us too.

Let's stop making up rumors.  Minifiigures Plus has been around a long time and provide quality products at reasonable prices.  There are still many Mom and Pop toy shops throughout the country that resell LEGO products.

Yep, like the pharmacy I have nearby and they are on the top of the pyramid.

Smooshing 392 of these most of which were from 5 cases, Maleficent is my rarest with only 17. This correlates with top price for individual figure on amazon as well.

Ursula was second rarest with 19.

Mr Incredible, Syndrome, Aladdin, Genie, Stitch are annoyingly common.

the others fall somewhere in between.

Thanks, I've experienced the same. Daisy, Donald, and Cheshire Cat seem to be less common as well, for me at least. We've been through about 200.

Check again. Malificent is easy to confuse with Ariel initially. When in doubt, compare the dot codes between multiple packs.

I've been sorting cases for a long time and I've never seen a standard 60 count sealed case deviate from the published breakdowns.

Thumbs up EOL investment. If you can hold $72 worth of minifigs and not worry about cash then go for it.

i have never had a sealed case differ from the distribution either.

i have had 4 out of 5 sealed FACTORY cases match the standard 4:3 distribution.

1 out of 5 didn't match - missing a malef and got an extra cheshire.  i checked this 5 times it was the second to last case.

these were sealed cases in the carton.

not hard to confuse - maleficient has large nonmovable leg base, spiky head and flat-end rod for confirmation..  ariel has nonmovable legs, largest hair piece i can fit the fat tip of my thumb into and the clam shells with the connector band for confirmation.  the 36 packs i opened for my daughters were 100% correct and my mom was pleased with the complete sealed set i sent her.  these are hands down the easiest minifigure series ever to smoosh.

this is the first 18 minifigure series - not sure if this is making a difference but i do believe based on my limited observation and other reports in this thread that there are a fraction of these sealed cases that were packed by hand or somehow in a different manner such that there were inconsistencies.

The reason I said malficent and Ariel are confusing initially is the diamond piece and the bulky base piece. Yes, easy when you take your time, but if you feel the wrong way maybe easy to flub. Thanks for the anecdotal evidence though. I will keep that in mind if I decide to pick up any more cases. I think this will be a great series long term, but I also think it has the potential to be the most over produced of any CMF line. Demand should be correspondingly high though.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, haven't been following this forum lately but does anyone know where can I buy a sealed case now for this set?

Does "MinifiiguresPlus" still sell them by a case? I don't see their ebay store selling any of them.

Seems like Indigo capped the quantity at 20 pieces but I want a full sealed case.

Nicely ask one of the many members here to do you a favor and get u a case. They seem to be passing them up here and there.
