got lucky and found these at the closest walmart to me where there were none 2 days ago.  best part was they weren't in the lego aisle - i had given up and moved over to the star wars aisles to look for some action figures and there these were.

i've sold 5 more complete sets since I went out to get them - have to keep sorting - should be able to get 6 more sets - there were 60 in each.

yes the window will close but these are hard to find and intrinsic demand is going soak up some of the supply.   the demand for these is unprecedented.  the only thing which could exceed this demand is a star wars CMF.

I wouldn't bury yourself too deep because I don't think it's going to pan out like you think. I setup the listing last sunday so i've watched this like a hawk....  The number of sellers went from 3 to over 10 within a 4 hours time frame today, although prices rose this morning about 20.00 from last night, and they were selling at around 150 to 180 from saturday to tuesday.   But then yesterday they went down to around 140 and danced to 150 before slowly climbing back up to 180ish this morning, but that didn't last long.

In another two days these will be going from 80 to 90.00 profit to 20.00 at max.  When too many jump in the pool, it's a quick race to the bottom and that's already beginning to happen.  I'm down to one of my five complete sets I was able to land, so all is good.  Made decent cash on these. I'm just hoping to blow the last one out around 150 and wash my hands and move on..  Once you get those guys that have feedback ratings of 71 or less, welcome to the race to the bottom!  Because they won't get sellers, but they'll keep pushing the price down and as more people jump in they will match, and that guy will go lower and lower and lower.

Heck, reminds me of how it went down with series 14 too.

The race to the bottom has began!  Just within the last hour of sorting a few cases, several more sellers have popped up on Amazon.  Some seller is willing to part with these for about $135 shipped.  Huh, some people...

Yep, there is about a two week window -  a week before these are released, and the week after.  If you are lucky to score them during that point, it's a win.  Anytime near the end of that period, I say it's a lot more risky, because prices will not hold up.  I always add all the sellers sets to cart, then hit refresh every once in a while to see if stock levels changed.  While that's not exactly a solid metric, it's still allows me to at least gauge sales rates.  I think one, maybe two sold in the last few hours and in that same time around 5 more people came on board with sets.  At this point, there's not enough sales to meet the stock rate for everyone to score 70 to 100% profit, so when that rush happens, the prices drop quickly.  I doubt these go higher than 139.99 or higher at this point, but I think that's going to be the highest point at this phase in the game.   Once it starts going under 120.00, it will no longer be worth it, especially if you bought a set of 18 at retail. Not to sound like a broken record, but some are happy just making five bucks.  Minifigures aren't like finding a complete set and listing it, because you have to smoosh through a case, and pull them.

Since saturday, I bought a case, and found 54 single figures, of that I had 5 complete sets, and a bunch of loose ones.  I let my son open the extras after smooshing through complete sets we had, then any doubles after that I listed.  I had a chance to buy one more case, but I didn't want to be stuck holding more sets, like I did with the last few so I passed, and i'm glad I did.  I learned from my previous mistakes and don't want to go deeper with more than six sets.  I still have one more set, but i'm up to a decent profit of close to 300.00 from that original 104 figures.  So,  I didn't lose. I'm tempted to just let my son take the rest of the figures he needs from that set, and call it game over.

Thats An awesome margin for what it is. I ended up with 4 Cases (12 sets and 24 extra figures)
I was on track making about 120 a case which I was ok with.

Then I open the last case.

And now the girlfriend decides "Hey Can we keep one set for me, oh and One for my Mom for mothers day, and oh wouldn't your niece like a set, its her bday in 2 weeks?"

Well needless to say. 360 profit on the other three cases turned into a profit of only 130.....but I got some brownie points so thats worth something right lol

yep race to the bottom at $135.  at $135 that makes this the top performing minifigures series in the last 3 years.  and they've been out 5 days.

at ~ $69 buy-in and shipping under $6, i'm more than happy to compete in that race. :)

You really needed to be selling these a week ago.  In the last 7 days I've seen these things everywhere - Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, and even Barnes and Noble.

Wow. I haven't gone out on the hunt yet, but just from glances at a couple stores here and there, still no sign in my area just yet.

Yep, you think making 20.00 off a set at current prices is good, just wait until minifigures plus floods the reseller market with all those preordered cases, while also releasing their sets onto the market.  That's when this line will flatline for years!

got my set(s) in target presales and a couple others for resale.  One is sold. One is listed.  Will put my extras(about 12) up this week as singles.

That will be it for me unless I buy a sealed box at a good discount as some point to save away because we are such big disney fans but I doubt it.
