tabolton314
My husband has done wiring to some of our lego display sets so that they light up (Trevi Fountain, specifically). When we build the Ferris Wheel, he has big plans to do the same. However, these would work way better than wires.i-Brix: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1426110532/i-brix-wireless-lighting-system-for-lego-buildingAnybody heard of them? jay4e
saw this on reddit a day or two ago. seems like a great idea. only limitation is the range of the power, its limited to 6-8 inches or upto 12 inches with the booster plate. I think the Ferris Wheel would be too tall for this to work well . better off using fiber optics or something there.

If so, that's awesome. I have the Fountain, need to build it, and I'm intending to add the lights as per that write up.

His was a little simpler than that, and only used white LEDs (where that guy used yellow). He didn't want to change the design of the water enough to light it.I did post a pic of it in the Trevi Fountain thread.

There is something to be said for simplicity.
