If it had, I think some LEGO fan blogs would have written a story about what the fix is, such as any substituted parts and change in instruction manual. The double seal is probably for the hinge piece that supposedly was too weak. Quote

HandyHand Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Looks like TLG has finished fixing Wall-E because it's Available for ordering again! Quote
HandyHand Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Just received a brand new Wall-E ordered at LEGO Shop at Home NL last Friday (27th of November). The seal-code is: 47S5 so this one was produced just 2 weeks ago. Quote
Sozial Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Today I played observer in the Legoshop here. Many people picked that little boy up. Lets see if that thing stays exclusive to Lego...could be a nice earner when EOL. Quote
Val-E Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Here, it´s not an Exclusive like Bird was. Still, it should do well if the lifecycle is short. Problem is with all the dicking about regarding the neck, they will probably extend its life. Quote

Delightedly Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Wee! I can't wait for my new one to arrive. I ordered it just to build myself but I might have to grab a few more if the build gives me the warm-fuzzy feeling of elegant design. Quote

Just got my backorder for LEGO Shop at Home US, it has 3 seals on it, the two outer seals appear to be a 39R5 over the top of a 33R5, the middle (3rd) one says 47R5. Quote
Val-E Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 So week 47 is the minimum guarantee for the neck fix, it would seem. I wonder if the original ones will fetch a premium - you could have snoozing Wall-E and fully charged Wall-E together. Quote
