Darth_Raichu Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Wait, how is the build for Wall-E more complicated than Ghostbusters or Mars rover (age 10+) to warrant recommended age of 12+ ?Suitability 12+ 1 Quote

nolanfan34 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Looks awesome. That box is fantastic. What will the piece count be? Quote

Sprocket77 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 No, it just meant you have not been a member long enough to witness the TRUE nerds in action. I was part of the conversation over when is the best time to use VIP points, that got particularly nerdy 1 Quote
exciter1 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 We're fans of Wall-E in this family, so my son will be stoked about this. Quote
Sauromosis Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I don't see amazing sales for this one...that movie came out a long time ago and isn't really relevant anymore. Quote
lobo1969 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 The model looks to to be really well done from what I can see from the box picture. Quietly optimistic! Quote
fondkick Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Beautiful boxe, i want one. Always in my mind : EVEEEEUUUU EVEUH ??? EVEUUUUU Quote
Sandwraith Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Totally forgot about this Ideas set, looks awesome. Quote
Thumper Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 It does look quite interesting, he's a great little character (even if a little dated now) but if another sequel should appear it will be gold! Quote
jbacunn Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Looks awesome. That box is fantastic. What will the piece count be?Love it mainly because I think it will be a fun build. When is available in the US? Quote
Shislerocco Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 personally l like the set and seems like a neat little build with play-ability if the tracks move. Quote
fossilrock Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I don't see amazing sales for this one...that movie came out a long time ago and isn't really relevant anymore. You're kidding me right? This is one of the most classic films ever made. It crosses the bridge to where even adults loved this film. This film is far from looking "dated". 2 Quote
Sprocket77 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I don't see amazing sales for this one...that movie came out a long time ago and isn't really relevant anymore. You could say the same about the Delorean and Ecto-1. Delorean is doing quite nicely since it went EOL. 2 Quote
Ed Mack Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Great looking set. My family like the movie as well. It's one of those movies that starts slow, but if you give it a chance, it really is well done IMO. The more I watched it, the more I liked and appreciated it. 6 Quote
tacsniper Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 This set will do well... even I want one just for display! Hope someone is working on Eva as well Quote
Sauromosis Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I'm probably too biased. I have seen it a few times...as I watch Wall-E, I find myself thinking, "I should really love this, it's a great concept, but it's boring." 1 Quote
BrickChick Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 We are big WALL-E fans here. Looks great!!!! Quote
oneknightr Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I don't see amazing sales for this one...that movie came out a long time ago and isn't really relevant anymore.Yes, the movie is old, but it's still relevant. First, you have the adults who love this movie and second, some of those adults have played this movie for their kids, who in turn love it too. I'm 41 and have a 7yo and 3yo and they both love the movie. They'll love this set just as much as I will. Quote
