Jules_K
Has anyone noticed a huge surge in demand (and subsequent price increase) since the release of the giant Ant-man and micro ant-man in set 76051? These have now surpassed 2.5x RRP in my neck of the woods.
feed
Still kicking around at retail in the UK, picked up 5 from a TRU, 2 weeks ago and I wasn’t really looking for them.
Fenix_2k1
Yeah definitely still some sets around in tru if you're lucky. I'm packaging them up with micro and giant figures to sell as complete sets.
BP
Yup, High demand for the figs, prices went up fast, antman fig sells for 30 euro atm

If the set made it to retail stores here I don't think that the rise would be so pronounced.
HappyHawkeye
lowest price on Amazon US is approaching $70 after it was still under $50 just about a week ago - this thing is taking off!
zskid00
One of the few Super Hero sets to perform well so quickly. A short shelf life and unique minifigures is a good combination. Very similar to Wolverine's Chopper Showdown. My only fear is that LEGO will release an Ant-man polybag or Dimensions set to kill the value of this set. I think Dimensions is out the window. between Disney not wanting to compete with Infinities and the way that Dimensions seems to be circling the drain . . . Lordoflego
Ant-man is doing great by itself, but would be nice to see this one now:

Cheese
Any thoughts on whether in the UK this has plateaued since it is up 50% or whether it will move on up and catch up with the US especially since it has now pretty much been cleared out from TRU due to the recent gift card promo? Given limited run and low production numbers due to QA issue and cool exclusive figs (assuming they don't show up in the last civil war set that is still to be released) anyone see £50 as a achievable target? Scatterbug
No way will it match American performance. You can still get them for RRP on the secondary market. I see £30 as the potential high point but that is only if the mini-figs remain exclusive.
Fenix_2k1
Hoping for a little resurgence in demand when Civil War releases this week and new Ant Man film due too. I'd be very surprised if another Ant man Lego set was released any time soon, given this sets performance.
Cheese
I picked up a bunch of these in the recent TRU Gift Card Promo. So a buy-in of £10 and quick flip to £30, means more than doubling my money with no real effort. Already sold three in a couple of days. Will hold a few of these just in case there is a similar surge that Wolverine Chopper has seen as a result of Deadpool interest. Even if a new set comes out, can't see myself not at least breaking even.
Fenix_2k1
I bought a few with the same offer but choose to part out the minifigs. I am bundling antman micro, mini and giant figures as a package thinking they'd sell well but not a sniff yet. I've held 2 back as complete sets. Cheese
All UK buyers. Quite a demand but not quite been able to go much higher than low thirties. Check eBay sold prices.
