keetedw Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Introducing myself here.I grew up playing with them, and managed to hold onto pieces from my childhood until my girl child was old enough to play with them instead of just shoving them in her mouth. I then went on a buying kick for a few years, spending hours playing with them, with my daughter. Now that she's older, I'll probably sell my collection (sadly). I stumbled on brickpicker when I was trying to get an idea of the value of my collection and found the forum to be pretty helpful as well. Quote
diablo2112 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hello. Lots of folks here happy to help if you decide to sell your sets. Hope you still have the boxes and instructions. Quote
keetedw Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Hello. Lots of folks here happy to help if you decide to sell your sets. Hope you still have the boxes and instructions. No boxes, unfortunately, as we never looked at Lego as something to collect/sell, only as a toy to enjoy. I do have instructions for 44 sets, though I have more sets than that.Once I am beyond the posting threshold, I imagine I'll get all my information together and reach back out for advice on how to approach selling it all. I really would prefer to hang onto them, but the girl child has hit her teens and is playing competitive soccer, which turns out isn't cheap. Free up space and pay for soccer? Seems like a good plan to me! Thanks for the welcome! Quote
