I bought wall-e at store yesterday and the display of cash register showed no price adjustment?!  I and cashier had no idea why it showed up.  Does it imply I cannot adjust price later for BOGO if it becomes a clearance item?!

just bough 4 wall-e, and I have till the 15 jan 2017 to exange or be refund, so if you can exange or refund, you can price match

i want a price match!!   They will accept, because, you cna return them and buy them again at better deal.. so no worryz they will price match. You just say i bough them for xxx amount there are now less, i want the refund for the difference in pricing!  So everything bough now, kept the receipt

I always check price, because we have a month in normal time, (chrismas we have a lot of more time) but 

 

if you buy somethiung today, and in two weeks it have a huge deal on it, go get your money back!!!

 So i recommend to get wall-e's i think it will be a winner. With that 15$ card, and a chance to get a better deal in the futur(maybe! but they might be sold out who knows).

But with 21$ offf+ 15$ card with purchase of two, i didn't take the chance to not have some in BOGO. If they do, ill get the refund, at least i have some, i didn't touch Bing bang theory, this set is a loser IMHOO. I think wall-e will hit pretty quick 100$ CDN. Bing bang will not go far from msrp.

 

if I check sold listing on ebay, some have been sold for 100$ already, and arent selling less than MSRP(mayybe  couple of exception but in general). If I check sold listing on bricklink, you can see that wall-e is hugely sold. And not bingbang etc.... i have done some research like this, and i really beleive wall-e is a big winner.

 

Other notable sets in this black friday deal is JW of course but the friends air port. easy money on this one.  All other friends and elves don't touch if you can have JW wall-e etc.  Sold listing for the friend airport are prett good. Can go hhigher than msrp

if you read the card, is says exclude LEGO sets, but i don'T think they will follow it. If they do, I'll be mad, very mad.

I don't follow the same strategy as you to flip for pennies on the dollar so I'm not interested in the deals you post. You're not on "posts require approval" so the mods can get their fill of your deals. That's rich dude.

You're free to post or not but your math and methods have been suspect on multiple occasions. I haven't been the only one to notice either.

Then your s**thead comment to another BP member about handing them $100 was uncalled for. Those are the times people should just stay quiet.

That comment wouldn't come if the poster did not ask for a SC at cost. He is doing what those people do on CL, send a message and say "I will take your sandcrawler now for $100 cash and meet up now. Please be kind enough to accept this as it is for my 9 year old who is autistic." That is the same as going to TRU and tell the manager, please sell me that Simpsons house you have on the shelf for $100, it has been collecting dust and I can help you clean that shelf.

Except the deal on the Sandcrawlers. That was a great deal. 

 

You got 18 of the things. Just hold on to ONE of those for an extra year, and help a guy out so he can BUILD the set at a discounted price. It's not like I'm going to be stealing that profit from you. 

 

I'll also point out that you noticed the deal went live at 11:38pm. When did you post saying so? After you'd probably taken the 2 I had in my cart from under my nose and tapped them out. Ridiculous. 

 

Edit: Greedy more like. I can understand having no respect for Little Timmy, but most other BPs here help others out on stuff like this. It's all good though. I didn't get any, and they're all gone now. Here's to hoping it tanks hard and you make very little on your 18 behemoth boxes of brown bricks.

With the risk of beating a dead horse, I think it was just an honest request to see if someone had an extra they didn't plan on buying or if someone was on the hunt and found an extra they wanted to get for him.

Brickpicker is far from CL and a lot of people help each other out by posting deals. It would be silly not to buy a few before posting it here, nobody said that was a smart move... but you probably don't get that we are ok helping each other out and that's ok.

You keep feeling good about yourself, no worries. I'm going to sleep great tonight myself knowing what I'd do for a fellow BPer if given the chance.... in fact, I've done lots of at cost deals over the last three years because karma and I'm like that. You're not, wonderful.

I'm an IT guy with nearing 25 years in front a computer... I can't be bothered to script out deal hunters because it's not my thing. The code I write for a living would eat your scripts alive. But you don't hear me bragging about it here... oops, ok you did. Oh well, can't win em all.

I would like to point out that I had requested that IF anyone had an EXTRA to PRIVATE MESSAGE me. You boldly posted your stats of "I netted 18 and I'm too bloody greedy to part with 1 and just have 17" in the main thread, and now are proceeding to compare me to an ebay fruitcake? Ok, I haven't posted in a while as life as gotten a little crazy, but it saddens me to see my favourite community turn into every other forum. BP is a classy place with awesome contributors and people who really have gone out of their way to help fellow BPers, me included! For those of you who are newer and don't know about Supraboy, we are pretty sure ChristopherJB is the same person (Just a lot of silliness related to them). We have tolerated him and understand that he needs to gloat once in a... few hours. Don't pay him any attention. Ignore him like you would an Alpaca that keeps spitting at you... you're not going to punch the alpaca right? lol

Let's keep this thread Canadian eh? Sorry for the long message!

Anyway, just wanted to thank all of you who keep posting all the time for the sake of the rest of us as I really don't have time to troll sites like I used to. I will be spending some time scrolling back and giving "likes" to the contributors!
