Arcanum777
Thanks very much for the code, I bought the space shuttle for one son's birthday and picked up prison island for my other son's - saved me $48 on what I would have had to buy any way
Brasidassp
think we'll see another opportunity to get Poe's Xwing and Resistance Xwing at discount?
tacsniper
Exclusive clearance items. Ice breakers will not matter.
Zelgazra
Which items you referring to @tacsniper? The MTT? Code seems to work in BC too. Edited August 14, 2016 by Zelgazra
Vodium
My store has lots of MTT's in stock. Just have to order online with the code and do in store pick up.
gravtation
Well Am i the only one who clearly see no gain in this promotion .. since normaly it is 20% off 1 set.. a bonus to TRU that will sell 2 sets instead of 1 right away ! Just another hack way to make you spend more and get no peanutts in return ! Tried few sets here in Quebec .. most work without a glich, but still no clearance can be add to this promotion neither in store or delivery !: Buy 1 get 1 at 40% off all LEGO Building Sets! Excludes Clearance and sets over $150 So no Artic Boat ... Edited August 15, 2016 by gravtation

I love how TRU is trying to get all our money now before Disney castle is release. Edited August 15, 2016 by tacsniper

Well those 20% off LEGO sets deals have become more rare at TRU, and some themes (almost) never see a discount, so it is a good way to get a few dollars off. I could see the benefits to those parting out sets as well, as they need a steady stream of sets and any discount would be welcome.
kd123
I haven't seen anything local for more than 20% off in a long time. I used this to pick up spare parts for mocs (technic).
lobo1969
I decided to hoard some Scooby Doo Mystery Machines with the discount and airmiles vouchers.
bigreen
Do ToysRUs Canada still provide airmiles? I was told back in May they no longer give that.

You can't collect with them anymore, but sometimes you can redeem the miles for the e-vouchers to use online. I currently cannot redeem any, but i think it changes from time to time.

Air Miles is so screwed up over the past few months they don't even seem to know how to use themselves, with the expiry date looming in December they are doing their darndest to make it impossible to use up your points effectively. The website still has all the links to redeem your points for TRU vouchers - but the button is almost always greyed out, when it's not - you get all the way through the process to a point where nothing happens & it dumps you on an empty page where the print/save used to be. TRu will not give you points in-store anymore. They also have links on the air miles page that seems to indicate you can collect air miles from the Lego shop but the link is to the US site and there's not much more info about air miles from there. might as well just use them at the grocery store :-)
gregpj
We're currently looking to get rid of our Air Miles cards ... We recently tried booking a number of different flights and there were exactly ZERO options for us. Not even bad options, literally none. I'll probably use my Air Miles to pay for the fence I have to replace this fall. Rona allows you to redeem up to $750 worth at a time. But I had $400 worth of vouchers sitting since May that I have been using up. Though we have an airmiles thread to discuss this, airmiles cash is the way to go, I don't bother collecting traditional airmiles anymore. Even if TRUs totally ends the voucher program, which I've redeemed many thousands $$$ on LEGO, airmiles cash is still great to use on gas, groceries and liquor. 9 minutes ago, gregpj said: We're currently looking to get rid of our Air Miles cards ... I just used the last of traditional airmiles to get a new PC monitor
jeff_14
Got 2 First Order Transporters, which I have never seen on sale anywhere. One for my son's birthday in a month (which will finish off the first wave of Force Awakens sets in our house other than the Falcon) and one for resale later. Vodium
The code SHIPFREE still works for free shipping. Saves me a whole $45 Sadly there is nothing that I really want.
