Apparently the Tumbler came back in stock at TRU earlier this evening around 9pm (received an email from TRU) and were available for 160.98. Too bad I just checked my email right now at 2am T_T

Im also lost on pulling the trigger on the Darkseid Invasion set while it's on clearance. Seems like a good idea with the Batman vs. Superman movie coming this March and what could be the start of DC Comics cinematic universe but then again it's not really a Bat vs Sup set. orz

Also found in my local TRU are MTTs for 89.98, qualifying for the b1g1. 

There are also IRs, Attack on Laketowns and a Lonely Mountain, although they're not in clearance. Are these worth getting at RRP?

Decided to go back grab a couple MTT's tonight.  Couldn't make up my mind but at $65 a piece, can't really lose.  While I was picking these up I came across an end display of

Anakin's Jedi Interceptors on clearance for $2.48.  Also qualified for the BOGO 1/2 off.  Picked up 2 dozen.

went this morning hoping to see something appart but no Only thing left is many big ultra agent 70164.. like as least 10 of it aint selling... didn't take some 

and they still was 2 xmen crushed box... didnt take them

 

I see many pirate ship everywhere also... there is a huge stock pile in my city of it.

My local TRU was out of the MTT long time ago, I wish I picked up a few more. I flipped them on Ebay for $100USD + shipping and holding on 2 I have left.

I second the Pirate Ship - not sure why they didn't clearance them out when other retailers did. My fear was (not as much now) that they would become a TRU 'exclusive' like Monster Fighters did and Pirates sets would collect dust on TRU shelves for another year. I say was because no indication yet, and TRU doesn't have stock of the whole line anymore.

I think even at a 20-30% discount these might get thinned out quite a bit.

i would say yes.. almost any lego at 50%... almost...

Was at TRU for play doh related purchases (for flipping, obvi) and managed to snare a couple MTTs that definitely weren't there last week. They also dredged up a couple Technic MKIIs...couldn't believe my luck, although the boxes were a little manky. Top that off with 16 Witch King Battles (total was $170 after taxes) and I didn't mind buying the Disney Play Doh for the kid. They had moved a lot of stock around, so I can only assume the MTTs and Technic sets were somewhere in the back. Might be worth a look if you are out and about this week/weekend. 

Also, yes, I know the Witch King is online, but with limit 3 something else needs to be added for free shipping and I was going to TRU anyway. Left two on the shelf for Timmy...not a total monster.

So that's like 30 CAD after seller fees in profit? Not bad, I'll grab some of these, a local TRU still had a wall of them lol

I think this is true too. Very hard not to turn a profit with at least 50% off. However I'd be wary with the 42024; non-PF technic sets are apparently really hard to sell (unless they look really nice, wasn't hard for me to sell a couple of 42039s).

I bought a couple of these myself; it's priced 199.98 on clearance, and if you buy one to get the other for half the price, total would be around $340 for 2 cranes.

I think they are, especially since the theme is never coming back and 2 of the 3 characters also featured in the popular LOTR movies.
