For the Seacows, it says that there's a limit of 3 per customer; what do they use as an identifier and define "each" customer? Is it an email address or a credit card? If you wanted to order 4 of them, would it be fine if you put the same billing info and shipping info but a different email address each time you ordered?

I have ordered 20 times the same set several times, over many orders, all using the same information and it all went through.

It's quite possible they aded that rule to be able to cancel the orders of unwanted customers: those who later return the sets for a refund and so on.

I have a feeling the limit is either a. to please Lego's demand or b. to cover their butt in the event someone made a typo on a price or system glitch causing a huge discount. IE: 50% off on eBay earlier this year where a few of us cashed in on it before many following orders were cancelled ;)

TRU website does not have any shipping discount today when I check out.  Does anyone has same problem?  I try different items (including non-lego items) and no shipping discount is showed.

Maybe the practice of shipping products in ridiculously oversized boxes with no packing material finally got to them...

Just saw a tweet from TRU Canada with a coupon code for $10 off $50 today online. However reading the fine print; LEGO is excluded :(

Hopefully this is not a new norm! Here's the code for any who want to try: NYD16E1EpbhHyv9Dg9

ahhh i liked that cineplexholyday 10$ off 40$ and worked with lego and shipping was free with 40$. after what, new code cineplexBDAY something like this, but was 10$ out 50$ with free shipping wth 50$ order. Like the 10$ off 40$ with free shipping, when lego were at 20%(2-3 theme a week).... was cheap!!

But we have less good deals, but they are ok here walmart and toy-r-us compared to USA, which they double something price of lego!! like at-at at 229$US WTF???

Yep last time I called a sea cow, damn I was, what is that HUGE box, my seacow? Opened it and yes, like very oversized, no padding no nothing, box got all crushed. because it moved in the big box. Compagnies..... for saving 50cents, that I would have paid if I was asked for, don't package well, or they are just dumbass employees who don't care. If i give it has a gift, i think it's bad that the box is crushed.

Too many box crushed because of this. But eh....

Looks like the listing for both the Sea Cow and Tumbler are taken down now.

doesnt mean nothing these days. sea cow returned from the grave like 2-3 times or so this past few weeks.... to vanish again. I think chances are low about the tumbler short return..160$ was a heck of a deal for it. but i don't think well be that lucky,

Did they return after the listing was taken down? I thought the only time they returned when the listing was still available but add cart wasn't there.

Yes they returned after the listing was taken down. Sometimes, like the bennyspace ship, the link is still there i think has today , but been sold out for 6 month and never returned...

I missed something and I am still thinking about it, when I scrolled the buy 1 get the 2nd half price section, saw a fantastic batman statue worth 219$, was 119 or 129$+2nd half price, didn't take them, 1 hour later, I went to buy them and was sold out.... it was an really awsome batman statue

well i missed all the great deals online but i Checked out the store today they still had lots of clearance lego. Small time investor here so i was happy to pick up some of the smaller sets. but those prices. ;P

Star Wars-MTT 75058 for 89.99 then BOGO. only was able to pick up 2 but they had at least 10-15 left

and some sets that are not on the website:

Pirates Soldiers outpost 70410  Reg 24.99for 17.48  plus BOGO turns out to be 13.11 each 20+ still in store

City Swamp Police 60066 Reg 12.99 for 7.98 plus BOGO ended up to be 5.98 each.10+ still in store

I know they are not the biggest sets but i cant help but pass up good deals on lego. I even broke my personal investing code. do not buy anything other then starwars.

You are strictly after Star Wars for investment purposes? With all due respect I'd rethink that strategy.

im still fairly new literally just started in 2015. testing the waters as you would say. Even made some big mistakes already. And that could be one of them. but until im a bit more comfortable in learning what people want or like in all sets ill stay in my comfort zone.. for now. ;P i plan on branching out a bit this next year.

Fair enough.

I got into the LEGO collector game back in 1999 when the very first Star Wars LEGO sets first came out and bought virtually everything until about 2 years ago. Take it from me, not all Star Wars LEGO will pay big dividends particularly if you buy in at retail pricing. Definitely wise to take advantage of sales, the closer to 50% off the better. Of course I've done very well with UCS Star Wars sets but the currently line of UCS sets like Slave 1, Sandcrawler, Tie fighter still give me pause considering some of the other choices LEGO has available. Star Wars LEGO is cool but the sheer volume its produced in and the likelyhood of subjects being recreated over and over limits the whole line somewhat. Think about all the X-wing sets that have come out and probably still to be released! Disney will milk the Star Wars property for at least the next 10 years and LEGO will be there right along cranking out the sets :)
