Veegs
Already got my Sea Cows adjusted. Put in online claims for a few other orders; if they all go through, I'll probably splurge on more Tumblers!
seapotato
Did you get it adjusted in store or online? We should try and get a credit back for the Milano that was purchased cause it should qualify for BOGO. Can confirm everything ending .98 in store is BOGO. Got everything I bought on Xmas eve adjusted today.

Lets not spread misinformation around now Couple members said calling did/did not work, some said online form did/did not work. Bottom line is YMMV and to try any/everything. Even in-store which seems to have a higher success rate from my experience. If members can get a price match from the comfort of their own homes without having to even call anyone (online form) that's the best avenue to try first imo. Lazy? sounds smart to me. seapotato
One more question - do I need to bring the set back to the store for the price adjustment or is bringing just the receipt good enough? I got the sea cows adjusted through the online form. My tumblers they denied me on the form, phone, and in store. However in store they only denied the price adjustment I didn't try to return and repurchase.
Veegs
Was denied online for x-men, Hydra & Ant-man - they would price match but wouldn't BOGO 50%. In store worked like a charm, plus two Five Armies (def not there a few days ago) magically appeared and made there way to my cart. I ordered some ice-breakers. Should I wait for them to arrive and get the packing slip or has anyone had success printing the 'shipped' email with order # and used that for price adjustment? I'm pretty confident that if I bring the right paperwork, the ten ice-breakers will net me a nice discount. Also, any luck on Tumblers now that the listing is down? I keep checking hoping the listing will pop back up so I can quickly get a price adjustment.

I can still grab these in-store... easier that way and still get BOGO.

I caved and used three $15 coupons on three of these at TRU a few weeks ago. I have a feeling it will be around $300 + shipping CAD by next Nov. - already the cheapest BIN (prolly some of you guys) from Canadian sellers is around $260 with shipping. And I think 300+shipping as a conservative estimate. I like the very short run of the set, and unlike Helm's Deep, I can't recall anyone getting this 50% off (Awww, remember when TRU had HD for like 89.99?) so your competition doesn't have a huge advantage like they do on other sets that are available at a big discount. Haha, that was so long ago (I snagged 11 back then so easily). You and I are BP old skoool. I sold off all the Helm's deep this christmas to get capital for new sets. seapotato
I think I picked up like 5 HD at that price. I still have a couple but the ones I sold netted me a pretty good profit! 😊

Sea Cows also. They did argue about the BOGO on the Sea Cow. All settled. So each Sea Cow came up to around 175CAD taxes included. Not bad. Total of 12 sea cows, now I need to find a way to sell them all.

Veegs
I think it was our fault (me included) - seems they pulled more listings that people were using to price match + BOGO 50% in store. By buying online and then adjusting in store it circumvented the lack of BOGO on the website, but no more Icebreakers for me I'm also pretty annoyed that the Mini and a few other sets that qualified for the streetview Bricktober sets 'magically' came back in stock - yeah, I know, typical TRU, but I'm annoyed nonetheless! Did sell my first streetview for $99 shipped to a buyer one province over, so the shipping wasn't bad ($9 + change). Brought down the price on the one Mini I did manage to order nicely...
