Man, I had the Sea Cow in my cart but it was gone by the time I was finishing check out. Bummed to have missed it at that price

I managed to snag 12 Sea cows last night. So far, no order cancellations. :) My previous two orders, I just called them and they gave me a price guarantee. If you didn't want to miss something like this again in the future, you guys could have just punched in the order ahead of time, then call for price guarantee and get 20% reimbursed.

Its been in and out of stock for most of the week. Chances are a couple will keep trickling in, but with %20 off i bet a lot of people have some apps/scripts running on the page ><

Do you know where I can get a hold of a script to monitor prices on specific sets?

I don't use scripts myself, just page refresh addons in chrome. Some of these can monitor text changes like "in stock, add to cart, etc".

Do you guys use an air miles credit card? Just wondering how to accumulate more miles...it seems like it takes ages for me to earn anything!

I don't use an airmiles attached credit card either, just the airmiles card itself, Lowes (Canada) just started up with airmiles, so if you're doing any renovations (which I always seem to have a few projects on the go) they build pretty fast, as does Rona, Rexall drugstores always seems to have 100 or 80 bonus airmiles coupons on Fridays & weekends if you spend $50+ (you can get on their direct email list on their webpage), Sobeys supermarket has tones of bonus airmiles on random products all the time & often have multiplier coupons if you sign up for their mailing list as well (Sobeys plan is kinda fun you get an email & click to load the bonuses directly onto your airmiles card & they popup automatically when you use it so you don't even have to remember coupons or anything), some auto/home insurance companies also, Shell gas stations give points but they are real stingy with them unless you buy premium fuels - you can get a better deal with thousands of points a month with Petro Points at PetroCanada & convert those to TRU coupons (it's an unrelated points plan).    When it's all stuff you buy anyway it's surpizing how fast you collect airmiles without trying.

If you have regular drug perscriptions to fill try to move them to a Sobey's location. Drugs get x7 airmiles.

Visited two of my local TRU's yesterday, huge mistake - soo many people!!!  All the JW sets were completely cleaned out as were all creator & nearly all the hobbits lines, though I did find a few exo suits at $23 (half price)  They must be restocking SW constantly as that entire section seemed completely untouched ??? not a single empty space on the shelves (or extremely unlikely, maybe it's just not selling at all this year)  Also seemingly untouched were ScoobyDoo & Minecraft areas  (& there's still Lone Ranger sets available!)

Only JW set I've been spotting is 75918. Have anyone seen any IR lately? I am hesitant to let my last few go in case I cannot restock enough in Feb.

Not in TRU, but local wm had 10 or so IR (46R5). Haven't seen any JW in TRU for a good while (aside from a case of RR the other day).

I would keep the Sea cows at this point. The ink marker number shouldn't be a big deal (for reselling) and the damage is not too bad structurally speaking. I recently got a Mixer with a big puncture hole in the back of the box but decided to keep it anyways. No chance of contents falling out. But now I'm worried again about the Tumblers I have coming from TRU.ca...
