Saw the same type of sale bins at my nearest TRU as well but only %10 off  wattarip!

Did notice they had a complete restock of nearly every current line including 8x more IRs (34R5) & even more of all sets from the JW line except RE of course stock levels are almost pre-Christmas capacity!

Guess it's safe to wait for a sale before going in on JW nowadays.

This was fully restocked in 2 of the TRU in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Go buy at will if you can, but you guys better think twice before loading this up. Walk in to your TRU, look up on the shelf, you can see at least another 30 in stock easily on the shelf. These are no longer moving as fast as before. If you don't believe me, go and ask your TRU staff there and they will gladly point at their inventory for you. Then you'd hold your cash and move on to the next aisle.

I agree, JW is done as an investment (for now).  looking at others reports of seal codes they seem to be pumping these out on a weekly basis. even RE is in serious overstock (waiting for walmart clearance sales now)

Do you know which TRU in the Lower Mainland had these in stock?

They must have held some back for the flyer as someone mentioned.... seeing 29/30R5 popping up in my area. Maybe this was to somewhat coincide with the JW DVD release.

I'm still having some good luck though selling them online, but interest is certainly dwindling as more and more find them in store. Not purchasing anymore for now.. time to start boxing everything and selling for the season :D

Christmas season is always a cleansing time for me as i flush out most of the duds and a large chunk of inventory to make room for new stuff.

A restock in a major market isn't surprising. I'd bet that not every TRU across the country is getting regular restocks. Amazon prices are holding steady on IR - dipped to $229 + shipping for a bit but those got sold. Lowest is $260 shipped as of this post. That, and restocks in Canada seem to be more common (from anecdotal evidence gathered in the other JW thread) than the US, where prices for IR and RE have also held pretty steady (Trex, RR and the others all got solid amazon.com restocks). I still have faith in JW, especially if restocks stay strictly in store and mostly in major markets. I will agree this line is dead for a Christmas flip if any of the major retailers get a massive online restock (over a period of a few days where in stays in stock). Without it being widely available online between now and Christmas, prices will probably hold steady around $250-260 for IR shipped on the low end.

With a retail tag of $149.99 CAD, I'd rather put my money into the Pet Shop which is the sure thing with an additional $50. Loading up now is like playing with fire. I guarantee you by January, this IR thing will be all over the shelves. It reminds me a few years back when everyone was paying up for the Dolphin Cruiser during X-mas season. Now that DC is pretty much junk. There are a lot of people who are rookies in this game and load up thinking the prices will remain sky high. I've seen a lot of hoarders seeing high prices when a new set is released and thinks the price will remain sky high. If you are not a quick flipper, don't fall for this trap.

Too many have short term memory about the Tumbler when it was released last year and prices took a nose dive after Dec. 1st. That window of flipping is closing. So do your due diligence. If you are a person who just entered the lego market, you will truly be a big loser on this unless you are already an expert seller of goods on ebay and CL. Stick with the correct investments, load up the Pet Shop, Tower of Orthanc (when it pops up), and any soon to retire Star Wars set. You got a better chance of making big money buying an Ewok Village than making quick spare change on the JW series. If you have been in this lego game for a long time, you know the drill, load up those IR now, clean all the shelves and post everything online for that quick flip. Keep those receipts and get ready to refund within 45 days.

Big TRU flyer this week but no LEGO specials. There is a $10 off coupon for sales over $49.99 but fine print says "Excluding LEGO" :mda:

Only thing I see of any worth is a 10x airmiles coupon for orders over $100 Nov.13,14 but since TRU is shafting us on base airmiles even that is barely an incentive...

Does anyone know how the bonus air miles work? is it only once per account of base on per transaction? I can use a couple SOH with 10x air miles on seperate transactions :D

I would give it a try. Applies to each single transaction above $100. Though you might not know the final outcome until your airmiles account is credited which could take a few weeks

50% off Cargo Trains kind of killed the deal... that and aside from picking up a Gingerbread House or two during the next promo I'm done buying for the year!

Has anybody see the ne Toys r Us flyer?  They're offering a free Ninjago Battlepack if you purchase a lego set for $25.00.  Is the Ninjago battlepack an exclusive?
