They eventually retreated to the Remnant. But not before defeating the Republic and losing to the Republic a few more times.

Even as the Remnant, it is repeatedly stated in the books they still had the most powerful navy in the galaxy, they were just to busy fighting each other. I think they flew an SSD into a Vong worldship, DS style. I am leaving before I never see a ****** again...

Here I am reading storm of swords and now I just want to crack back open those Vong books...

They wouldn't dare remake a new death star, but I heard online that they may make a new collectors millenium falcon in view of the movie. Whether the movie will be good will be another thing.

This rumour is quite old and until now we still haven't seen any indication of it being true. Still, if they make it it will be very different from 10179.

Question about the limits for lego.

I have purchased two death stars over the last year. Would like to purchase two more. Question is is this against the rules because it says limit 2 or because of the space apart from when last ordered it would not be an issue? Any insight would be great.

Thanks

hey guys, im sorry if this has been answered before but I have a serious problem with my sealed death stars.  they ALL WEIGH DIFFERENTLY!  one from 2011 weighs 8.2 kilograms, another weighs 5.4, 5.6, and 6.8 kilograms!  is this normal?

where did you purchase them from?

all of mine (purchased from 2011 to 2014) weighs from 18lb 1.3oz to 18lb 1.9oz which is roughly 8.19kg TO 8.22kg

its very less likely LEGO have that kind of quality problem. they are very good.

i got them from Target, Walmart, TRU, and Lego store over a course of 4 years when I had gift cards or whatever from whichever retailer.... I have 8 death stars all from different places.  The target one weighs even more then the 8.2 ones... it came in at 9.4 KG!  wtheck is going on?  anyone else have this problem?

8.2 = 18.0779 pounds

9.4 = 20.7235

5.4 = 11.9

5.6 = 12.3459

6.8 = 14.9914

p.s. found another one that weighed 6.8, but then found a super light one that weighs 5.0....

(all seals intact mind you)

im pretty pissed right now.

all the seals on the weird weighted ones say R4 37 whereas the other 2 I got from LS@**** and Target are from 2011 or 2012.

they are all incomplete. I just opened one sealed box and part of the box came off on the tape. I knew I was screwed when that happened. sure enough opening that box, box number 4 tape wasnt on correctly and only had 7 bags. 5 Death stars all ruined. thats great. bought these over the course of 4 years and what I can tell all the ones I bought from Walmart are the suspect ones. be careful guys. Walmart is evil.

I am so sorry that is horrible.  Worst story I have heard yet.

Can you combine any of them to make full complete ones?

This is a great suggestion. I would however, if I had the receipts call Walmart tomorrow and explain the situation which they have landed you in. In Australia, this would be considered a breach of consumer law, that is, product not fit for purpose. At least they should supply you with the missing bags, even if they have to get it from lego. If they do not and you paid by credit card I would even try and lodge a dispute resolution with your bank. I have done this in Australia against barnes and Noble as they said they posted articles that never arrived. ****. I am going to weight every box of lego I get from now on.

Oh LEGO will do something alright. They will grill you about being a reseller and then probably ban you. I wouldn't call them if I were you. Deal with Walmart since it appears it could be their fault.

thank you ill try that, and thank you everyone else also.  im in shock right now... i dont even know where my reciepts are or even if i kept them.  the only thing I may have is my account on walmart.com and i hope it still has old orders in there.  im not exactly sure where they all came from, but i know i bought the bulk of my 8 death stars within a 3 month period where i had a ton of giftcards and a really good tax return i think 2 years ago.

its going to be hard to correct from the retailer as well after years of purchase. if it was within month of purchase possible but .... you can try. any +ve outcome will be blessing.

best thing i could think of is a follow on to what trekgate502 mentioned:

a. try to complete/make complete set out of those incomplete boxes.

b. if you can complete 3 out of those 4. in the long run you will come out ahead....

good luck..

Within a year possibly, however I think after 4 years regardless of the circumstances Australian Law won't be much of assistance.
