redghostx
Great news for eBay sellers: FedEx One Rate means more ways to save on shipping. You can now print FedEx One Rate labels right from the eBay label platform and can get a simple, predictable, flat rate shipping option for your express packages. With FedEx One Rate you can add to the box without adding to the price. This means sellers no longer need to weigh or measure express packages under 50 lbs. Ship up to 50 lbs. in FedEx One Rate paks, boxes, and tubes Ship up to 10 lbs. in FedEx One Rate Envelopes 12 different packaging options Up to 45,000 drop-off locations FedEx One Rate pricing is available for these FedEx Express services: Standard Overnight and Priority Overnight One Rate 2-Day and Express Saver One Rate In order to use FedEx One Rate, you must package your items using the One Rate packaging options (Envelope, Pak, Small Box, Medium Box, Large Box, Extra Large Box, Tube). This could save us some money with the Small Box as the dimensions are quite large. I do not know if there are any eBay discounts but, if there are, this update brings the cost down below USPS for a variety of items, particularly bulk and used sets (and heavy dolls or cosmetics?). http://www.fedex.com/us/onerate/rates/
pete411
Are the flat rate boxes free, and where can I get them? These are some nice prices for shipping. A nice alternative to USPS priority mail.
No More Monkeys
Are the flat rate boxes free, and where can I get them? These are some nice prices for shipping. A nice alternative to USPS priority mail. At any Fedex store or you can order them online at fedex.com. While the prices might be nice if you have something small but heavy, the sizing of the boxes does not seem to be that better comparing to USPS. Anyone can come up with an example of the set that would benefit from using this shipping option (besides shipping to AK,HI,PR)
redghostx
At any Fedex store or you can order them online at fedex.com. Anyone can come up with an example of the set that would benefit from using this shipping option (besides shipping to AK,HI,PR) My immediate thought is anything that you would send Medium flat rate box from USPS will be cheaper with Fedex Small box if there is a discount. An added benefit is that Fedex usually includes $100 insurance instead of $50 with USPS priority. It will be worth playing with the eBay shipping options when a seller prints the shipping label and see what the best price is - perhaps someone can post the differences today with a sample sale.
