TheOrcKing Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 This new item which is a ten times upscale minifigure mug on Shop-at-Home popped up in the "You may also like" recommendations section for me earlier. There also is a Friends version for the missus. 5 Quote
holleman67 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I feel like I won't be able to put coffee in this Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app 3 Quote
blue leader Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 This may just get added to my order during double points.... 1 Quote
supergman Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 That is awesome. My daughter is going to be all over this thing. Quote
Battrax Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Nice! No information on whether it is microwave/dishwasher safe, nor if it can handle hot coffee... Quote
Thumper Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Hilarious! :-) but at $16 Cdn it will have to wait until it goes on close out sale... Quote
Artlegion Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Supposedly it also comes in red but it's not available yet on LEGO Shop at Home. 1 Quote
MartinP Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 That's cool! I may buy one during 2x VIP points. Quote
@rtisan Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Cool, but I`ll stick with my porcelain mug with Bugs Bunny`s face plastered on it, or rather, molded around it. Well, I mean I would if I owned one... Quote
inversion Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Ugh, this is just too much. I mean, I love LEGO, but using plastic mugs? Never. I am a sucker for quality, and in the case of mugs it means porcelain. However I would accept these if they would be made from porcelain. Quote
Falderal Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 These are awesome! Strange that it's not in red since that seems to be the most common LEGO color. Quote
holleman67 Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I agree with inversion but this is too cool to pass up Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app Quote
supergman Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Doubt it, but I wonder if it's bpa-free. Hmm. Quote
Thumper Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Doubt it, but I wonder if it's bpa-free. Hmm. Hope not, since the replacement BPS is supposedly even worse but can be gotten away with as testing for BPS is still in it's infancy... Quote
Alpinemaps Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Saw these at Legoland the other day. Here it is next to this year's Easter set, for size comparison. I was honestly disappointed with it's small size. 2 Quote

seapotato Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 These look kinda cool but I don't imagine they are very practical. Would take up so much shelf space too lol. Quote

I agree, probably why they don't hold much coffee. To fit an American sized coffee it would need to be 30x the size of a minifigure's. Silly Americans and our super sized big gulp king obsessions! It's still too small.... :-) Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app Quote

I imagine that any more than that and the handle would have been too big. They're definitely more of a novelty and maybe (just maybe) ok for kids. Quote
Alpinemaps Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Huh, that is kind of small. So how many ounces can it hold? I looked on the product page and all I see are dimensions. I took a look. There's nothing on the cup nor in the directions to indicate how much it holds. I'd guess 8 oz. it might be closer to 6 oz though. It's not big at all. 1 Quote

That's barely good for a sizeable cup of hot chocolate. Regardless thank you for going back to check. 1 Quote
