I picked up several of these this week in one of the LEGO Stores for $79.99. I saw them for this price in two stores total this week (Atlanta and Potomac Mills). Both of the stores that had them were technically "outlet" stores. In the 3 other stores that were non-outlet they did not have these in the store even at RRP, but Atlanta and Potomac Mills had many.

pick up one...means will be available for long or its just selling left overs???

The Cottage will be around for a couple years, so there's no rush there. However for those that have been waiting to purchase one to build it is available from LEGO Shop at Home as Legodog stated.

$79.99 is a great price, I may have to drive over to the Potomac Mills Lego outlet, I'm only about a 30 minute drive from there. I love that store!!

I'm in Herndon, VA until Sunday. I hit it last night. Tonight I'm going to clean out all of your B&******'s and maybe cruise by a TRU that I think has something I want. Plus your sales tax is way nicer than what we have in Texas.

That Potomac Mills store is awesome, but that mall is really dicey...wonder how long the LEGO store will stay there?'

They also have Emma's Horse Trailer, if you're into Friends. That's an immediate flip.

How's the Tyson's Corner store? I'm thinking about checking it out tonight. Do they ever have any sales?

Yeah Potomac Mills is quite a dicey mall, I'm not a fan of the mall at all, just the Lego outlet they have lol. The store at Tyson's is much smaller (it's the size of a regular Lego store), but Tyson's is a much nicer mall! I'm not sure if they'll have any other sales currently going on though. Let me know how your trip to Tyson's goes. I haven't been over to Tyson's since midnight of black friday, I need to head over there soon as well.

I'd forgotten how much I hate driving in Virginia, especially around Tyson's Corner.

The store was insanely crazy. I bought 2x6857 Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape at RRP but mostly with points.

They had the Cottage for $79. That was about the only deal I saw there. They had several of the 10222 Winter Village Post Office.

Haha yeah traffic in Northern VA is no joke! I love the Dynamic Duo set. I wouldn't mind picking up a couple Cottage's, the problem is I don't really feel like sitting on them for a long time, since they will be readily available for holiday seasons to come. Still a great price though, but I'm sure it will be discounted again next year post holidays. Was the Post Office discounted at all?

The Post Office was discounted at Potomac Mills, but honestly I didn't look at Tyson's. They had more of them at Tyson's. There's a WalMart out here not far from where I am in Herndon. I was in there the other night and they had the Tower Bridge on the shelf. I couldn't believe it...I've never seen that at a WalMart, and they had 2 of them. I was tempted to price scan it to see if they accidentally had it discounted or something., but at this point, after being in 3 cities within a week, I coudn't fit anything else in my luggage.

Really? That's interesting. every Walmart and Target I frequent in Northern VA seems to have a horrible selection. I'm surprised they had 2 of them in stock. And yes a TB box will not fit into luggage comfortably LOL.

I couldn't stand it so I went back and checked the price. It was $239.97. They had two of them and one of the boxes was slightly damaged. It's at the WalMart in Sterling, VA.

Also, I was at TRU in Fairfax today picking up a site to store order and I went in the WalMart next door and found a random 4206 Recycling Truck for $14.50.

Do you ever head out west past Dulles to hit any of the WalMarts out there? I was going to, but stayed busy closer to Herndon. Have you scored any deals heading out west past Dulles?

That's cool, I was just at the TRU in Fairfax the other day. Yeah I actually live to the west in Gainesville, but I go to school at George Mason in Fairfax, and my girl friend lives in Arlington, so I'm constantly driving all over Northern Va (I actually take one of my classes at the community college in Sterling and was just at that TRU the other day as well). Anyhow I'm always running in and out of various TRU's, Walmart's, and Target's when I'm out driving around. They rarely ever seem to have highly desired sets or good deals though. I did get the Vampyre Castle at the TRU in Manassas (which is west of Fairfax) the other day. It was $109.99, but $25 off when you spent $100 or more so it ended up being like $89 and change which was an okay deal. They also had a returned DA and Battle of Hogwarts at the same RRP that Lego was selling them for, which was surprising because TRU is usually overpriced. Anyhow I grabbed those both as well since they're both already EOL. I've also noticed that TRU isn't consistant with pricing at different locations around here though. The Vampyre Castle was $109 in Manassas, but $119 in Fairfax, which makes the $25 off $100 deal not so great. Overall, all 3 stores, TRU, Walmart, and Target seem to be a toss up in this area from what I've found.
