jaisonline Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Jeff is working on it along with many other things. I think some folks need to remember, our owners & mods have lives outside of brickpicker. we have spouses, kids , regular jobs, houses, etc... this is also a free web site, so jeff and ed don't have hired workers "standing ready to go" to work on items when they can't. That's why folks should use the brickfolio export feature often. The good news is that no data is lost. It's all there. Just give Jeff as much time as he needs. 3 3
redghostx Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 A suggestion: In a future update, Is it possible to change the category of polybags to "polybags" instead of creator, city, star wars, etc. As a lot of these are free, it would make it easier to get a truer representation of the ROI of each theme without the outliers. If not, I can calculate it myself. Thanks for all of your hard work.
Ed Mack Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I can't upload an image to show you, unless it's a link to another website. How do I show an image? It's not just the Imperial shuttle either. I do have my Brickfolio set up to GBP currency, and I do enter my prices in GBP as I bought them. Then Brickfolio estimates the value of my sets new & old based on the ebay.com prices, judging by which, my collection is well under estimated. In order to see what a set is worth eventually, I have to click on it, scroll way down to the eBay listings and click from the drop-down menu and select ebay.co.uk instead of ebay.com. That way the local listings appear and this is the only way to get local & accurate data. For what its worth, the graphs and charts are only working if your sets are in dollars and you live in the us. Jeff is away for the week, so your request will have to wait. He has the ability to look at your Brickfolio and see what the possible issue is. If you are quoting the used price for the Shuttle, then something is off. It should read 363 GBP. I'll have him take a look when he gets back. Thanks.
glenbart Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) I don't know what you are looking at but the Set Guide page I look at states the UK price is 363.33 GBP, or approximately $595(US). Used prices in the UK are 263 GBP. Make sure you have it set as NEW. hanniball, You are right and wrong, your 10212 is worth indeed Edited September 23, 2014 by glenbart
glenbart Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Note: Each time you login you have to manually change your brick folio for the u.k market and have both options set to GBP. 1
Alcarin Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Note: Each time you login you have to manually change your brick folio for the u.k market and have both options set to GBP. Yes that is a bit annoying, you have to do the same for Europe EURO. It always goes to default USD showing
exciter1 Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Jeff, one quick question about the Brickfolio when you are in "View Entire Collection" or you've searched for a specific set and are viewing the results. Is there a way you can add the Total # at the bottom of the Quantity column, much like the value is totaled at the bottom each results page? That way when you search your portfolio for a sets there's an easy way to know the total number of "all sets" or "a specific set" when viewing the results.
stackables Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I have a price guide question. Are polybags hard to track? I noticed I have several in my brickfolio that still show $0. Polys like Micro manager battle and Iron Patriot. Are they still too new?

Polys like Micro manager battle and Iron Patriot. Are they still too new? I believe with polybags there are so many sold each month that refining the data takes a lot of work, one such thing with polybags is they are usually sold in bulks or mixed lots. Ed has said once a polybag is easier to manage it will get updates in the price guide, I have quite a few polybags with values, but most are around 2 years old, newer ones dont have values.
Huskers1236 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I have a price guide question. Are polybags hard to track? I noticed I have several in my brickfolio that still show $0. Polys like Micro manager battle and Iron Patriot. Are they still too new? Just like the CMF's, they are sorted in the Brickfolio by set #. Since hardly anybody on ebay uses these numbers in their listing instead of just listing "Lego Iron Patriot", they won't show up in the Terapeak info.
Ed Mack Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I have a price guide question. Are polybags hard to track? I noticed I have several in my brickfolio that still show $0. Polys like Micro manager battle and Iron Patriot. Are they still too new? The free polybags don't have an MSRP, so Jeff has to tweak something to make them active. Let us know about any issues on free polybag numbers.
xeeeej Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I just updated my brickfolio. 1. I'm over 1M pieces. Yikes! Is there a 1M badge? 2. How long does it take the Collection Summary signature tag to update? Cheers

loki221978 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 i have noticed on amazon and on ebay that a lot of the past CMF-minifigs (blindbag, unmodified) both used and new have gained a bit in value, will the values of CMF-minifigs be added to the brickfolio anytime in the future?
Ed Mack Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Probably not in the near future. Too many bad listings. Too many lots and multiples. It will take time to decipher thousands of questionable listings.
Jeff Mack Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 It will be a project in the future, probably even more like next year (end 2015-2016) sometime. There is just too much going on right now to even want to wrap my head around it. It is just took hard to filter the minifigs accurately . I have mentioned it before, I will probably grab the listings that I think are minifigs and the community will probably help to identify the listings to put them there or something. I am just thinking out loud there. It will need manual intervention.
loki221978 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 awesome, that is good to know, keep up the awesome work!
