OMG, I'm blushing watching the LEGO man having that creepy smile. Edited February 6, 2015 by jaisonline please keep the thread clean, otherwise it will be locked Quote
justafrog Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Inevitable. I'm sure if one looks for it there's probably LEGO parts movies of a decidedly adult nature out there. Quote
cissi Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 It'll be fun (funny even) to see if this movie gets big (not so sure though)... and eventually LEGO made either a regular or an IDEAS set out of it (lol) although I highly doubt it. lol Quote

exciter1 Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Crap! Wrong thread, I thought this would lead me to a good resource for all the types of grey bricks. 5 Quote

@rtisan Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Hey it had to happen, with all the other Lego versions out there, someone was bound to do it right? Even if the subject matter is, shall we say, out of the ordinary. Quote
jaisonline Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Considering the wife is begging me to go see this poor excuse of a film on V-Day... I simply replied, "I'm out". 1 Quote
cissi Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 Sorry about the color confusion! Apparently they have the LEGO version in their official trailers! Quote
francis_crowe Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Is it gray or grey? Maybe a less ambiguous term like gunmetal? Silver strikes me as to shiny. :-P 1 Quote

jbacunn Posted February 7, 2015 Posted February 7, 2015 Hey what is Indiana Jones's whip doing over there? And what is that next to it.... Oh, I see. Carry on. Quote

TheOrcKing Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 I think this whole thing is hilarious. Guys getting dragged by their girlfriends to go see in a theater filled with strangers for Valentine's Day a movie based on a book basically about a couple who enjoy bondage. If they want to watch an 'adult film' on a day for romance then stay home and pop an actual one into the player or just use the internet like everybody else. As for the novels, eh, I've had better. It isn't anything new really. Quote
redghostx Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 We got tickets to an advance screening and I don't have to go (I got one of her girlfriends to go), I feel like I won a giant Lego set Ex Astris, Scientia. 1 Quote

TheOrcKing Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 No reviews yet?Rotten Tomotoes has plenty and overwhelmingly rotten. I do like Leonard Maltin's review but then again he probably is the only film critic I have respect for.Fifty Shades of Grey may not be the film some heavy-breathing readers were hoping for, but it does represent a (careful) step over the line by Hollywood standards. Will this alter the template for love stories in general? I wonder. 1 Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 I saw a clip where several men read excerpts from the book one by one in front of camera. I have not seen so many men blushed on screen in my life :D Quote
